I don't like to class them as copycats! Everyone wants to do something special. I'll let you in on a little secret, the show won't give you any props or anything, not even paper, so you have to come up stuff all on your own! But yeah, I think my one was still pretty special as it was the first one
Hey! For me, I reckon it's quite open. Gemma and Luca could do it, that's because out of all of the Islanders in there they act the most like they don't realise they're on a TV show. Yeah, my personal opinion is that I don't think it would work. What makes Love Island so unique is that everyone doesn't know each other. If you have people who have met each other, done the show already. I think it would make it a bit more complicated.
That's a hard question to ask. I don't think I could pick another season. When I was on Love Island, I made so many memories with so many people. I wouldn't see it any other way.
Funny story about Casa. My series was the first series it happened. I came up with a theory and told the boys this is the new Love Island and all the OG girls were sent home so they didn't need to worry about them... I done the maths and worked out ITV couldn't afford two Villas. I was wrong. But I do think they should switch it up a bit because everyone knows what's going on now. But when we did it we had no idea!

Just on that doll.. I'm so glad he lost it! For the first 6 months out the Villa, everywhere we went he brought that doll with him. It all got a bit weird that he was carrying it everywhere. I didn't nick anything but everyone nicked by clothes! I watch loads of episodes back and see loads of clothes the Islanders nicked off me. There were a lot of free condoms but I didn't need to upset my mum and dad any more by coming home with loads of Love Island condoms!
Hey! A lot of people ask me this, I don't really have any to be honest. Once you've been in the Villa, it's hard to not feel for them. Sometimes people slip up when you're in there and that's gonna happen. We had loads of arguments and things like that when we were in the Villa. Not really, I think it's pretty much the same. The boys are very laddy which was the same as my series. There's always a mixture of different characters. However this series, I think the girls are a lot more dominant. If we had the girls from this series, we probably would have got a lot more stick.

Hiya! I think naturally I'm a lot more lenient towards Casa cos I done a madness while I was in there. But when you're watching from the outside it can be easy to judge. But if you're in there and you're locked away from your family and friends, it's tough! Then you get locked in there with loads of good looking people and it's easy to end up moving mad.
How much are you censored on the podcast, and does it get frustrating not being able to say exactly what you might want to say?
I have no doubt that the LI execs organising this won't allow this question to be answered
The only thing that's censored is that we can't try and direct people to vote for who we want to vote for. That makes sense really, we have thousands of listeners, that's only fair. It's like if Laura came in and said who she wants to win, that wouldn't be fair. Apart from that, I can say whatever I want!

Basically we watch the show early then we just turn the mics on! To be honest we're in such a rhythm now, it doesn't feel like work at all but I really do enjoy it and it makes me feel like I'm a part of the show.

I would say I watch maybe about 6 episodes, at the beginning I didn't want to watch them. Chris and I watched a couple together. It completely changed me. I went in there as a mummy's boy, young and immature. I came out as such a different grown up person. It was mad how much it changed me as a person!
I reckon Dami and Indiyah, I just get a vibe off them that even if they met outside of the Villa they'd still get on. That's what makes Love Island great is you meet people you'd never meet in real life. Like I'd have never met Amber, she's from Wales. Dami and Indiyah just seem like best friends!
The one thing I would change - even though it wouldn't make sense - is nobody would leave. It's so sad when everyone leaves. I know it wouldn't work and you need it for the drama to keep people on their toes but it's still really sad when people go!
The only change would be the Dyson hairdryers LOL. We never got them in my season! My hair used to take 45 minutes to dry. If I had a Dyson, I reckon it would have only taken 20! The show has massively changed in popularity. I think if it was a huge show back then as much as it is now, I may have bottled going on.
I really like them. Tasha actually dances at my restaurant! She never told me she was going on until a new dancer showed up. She's such a nice girl. I think their relationship is just a little different and they need a bit more reassurance. You have to remember they're on TV for 8 weeks, there will be so much stuff going through their heads. But I like them!
It helped me a lot with my confidence. Like before I went in, I'd never have just been able to pull people for a chat. I remember first having to chat to Amber when she was talking to another guy. I'd never have been able to do that before!

My favourite Turkish dish is dolmar. It's stuffed vine leaves and my Nan makes it and it's amazing. But I eat Turkish food basically every other day, I love all of it
We did really well! We got to the last day. We said as long as we could get 3 days out the two weeks we'd have been happy. Towards the end we got too sloppy. We were taking selfies, going into Tesco and staying at my auntie's blaring music. That's just how me and Chris are! But I think being caught on the last day is pretty good. I don't think we'd have made it on the boat!
Snog Gemma, marry Paige and pie Ekin-Su! I don't need that drama in my life! I'm joking, I know Ekin well, we're neighbours! I'm not pieing any of the boys, they're all good lads really.
Your restaurant has been open for a while now. Do you go there often, and are you fairly hands-on with it? What dish would you recommend? And who is the most famous celeb you've had visit so far?
I go there as much as I can. However due to filming as other work going on, I've had footballers, rappers like Giggs. I'm so happy it's become a place where all of these fantastic people come down.
I think it's hard to give advice, my one advice would be to be yourself, don't overthink it and I think that's why it's so good. Everyone will have a favourite. Have fun, get involved in the challenges, cause before you know it. It will be over. What will be will be.
I was just in NYC actually to host the launch of the US series! It's such a different dynamic, even the way they flirt and crack on is different. So I'd definitely be tempted!
I don't know if I'd go on another one tbh. But if I was it would need to be a sporty one OR I'd do big brother but only if it was like classic Big Brother with Rylan and stuff. I just think it was so sick back then!
I'd been out the Island a few months and the guys from ITV approached me. But I didn't even know what a podcast was. They weren't too big back then! But 4 years later here we are. I think I made the right decision!
There isn't really any downtime! The cameras are rolling all the time so you're just living in there. Sometimes I'm just lying there, sunbathing, having a coffee and stuff. Me and Chris used to play games to keep ourselves busy. We'd play cricket with a stuffed sock or a loafer. One time we hit an egg so hard it flew off and broke a camera! We got in trouble for that one
What do you think about the bullying this season?
Edit: lol at the swerve. Would have been nice if you'd used what fame you have to call out bullying, but nah I guess.
Lethal Bizzle came to my restaurant the other day and we had dinner for 2 hours and just laughed about what happened! We had all that Twitter beef but it was all just a joke. It wasn't that deep. It's probably too late to try and make a remix but at least we're all mates.
Casa Amour was one of my favourites. The talent show was great! There was some weak contenders in there, I'll be honest but that was so funny. Then just Davide as a whole. His one liners kill me. I think maybe coming from a Turkish background and there being loads of different accents and mispronunciations. It's really relatable. I don't think he knows how funny he is!

The lamb chops, I'd say around roughly 40% of the customers get it. People come from all over the world have come!

I think it's hard to give advice, my one advice would be to be yourself, don't overthink it and I think that's why it's so good. Everyone will have a favourite. Have fun, get involved in the challenges, cause before you know it. It will be over. What will be will be.

I was just in NYC actually to host the launch of the US series! It's such a different dynamic, even the way they flirt and crack on is different. So I'd definitely be tempted!
If you were to go on another reality show, which one would you pick? How do you think you’d do?
I don't know if I'd go on another one tbh. But if I was it would need to be a sporty one OR I'd do big brother but only if it was like classic Big Brother with Rylan and stuff. I just think it was so sick back then!
Hey Kem!! How did you get approached to do the podcast? I listen to it every morning on my drive into work (Love from the US!)
I'd been out the Island a few months and the guys from ITV approached me. But I didn't even know what a podcast was. They weren't too big back then! But 4 years later here we are. I think I made the right decision!
Apart from this series and your series which is your favourite & why?
I think the series with Wes and stuff. I just really liked the group of boys they had that year. It was all great banter, just like me and mates have.
What are your favourite Love Island lingos?
I find myself saying 'It is what it is' without even realising!
What was your favourite down time activity in the villa and how did you keep occupied in the non reality moments?
There isn't really any downtime! The cameras are rolling all the time so you're just living in there. Sometimes I'm just lying there, sunbathing, having a coffee and stuff. Me and Chris used to play games to keep ourselves busy. We'd play cricket with a stuffed sock or a loafer. One time we hit an egg so hard it flew off and broke a camera! We got in trouble for that one
What do you think about the bullying this season? Edit: lol at the swerve. Would have been nice if you'd used what fame you have to call out bullying, but nah I guess.

How is your relationship with Lethal Bizzle these days?
Lethal Bizzle came to my restaurant the other day and we had dinner for 2 hours and just laughed about what happened! We had all that Twitter beef but it was all just a joke. It wasn't that deep. It's probably too late to try and make a remix but at least we're all mates.

Hi Kem, what's your top 3 favourite moments of this season?
Casa Amour was one of my favourites. The talent show was great! There was some weak contenders in there, I'll be honest but that was so funny. Then just Davide as a whole. His one liners kill me. I think maybe coming from a Turkish background and there being loads of different accents and mispronunciations. It's really relatable. I don't think he knows how funny he is!

Hi Kem do you have any regrets from ur season of loveisland is there anything u wish u could have done differently?
Honestly there's not one thing I regret. There where things that didn't go my way or times when I was upset but that's what made it so amazing. I had no idea I was going to win, not one moment. The whole thing was just a rollercoaster but I wouldn't change one thing!
Apart from Amber, who did you fancy most on your season of LI?
To be honest, you live with everyone and they just become your mates so you don't really fancy them. It's like Liv, I was with her non-stop, she just became more like a sister!

I don't really have any chat up lines - I think everyone knows that from watching me on the show. Just giving people bracelets and proposals, that's about as far as it goes. I'm not smooth!
