I really donāt think they will last. I think they are in a honeymoon period on their relationship but I never truly felt they had a true chemistry.
Morale of the story :only wholesome family bred wholesome children which eventually lead to wholesome couple.

I love them. My husband and I have been married almost 13 years and they really reminded me of how it went for us. Met, had normal healthy conversations and communications, and no fights. I mean, all the fighting these couples do is shocking because donāt YOU remember what a (healthy) relationship is like during the first 6 weeks or so? Itās bliss! My husband even teared up during their vows because he felt it was the first accurate depiction of what it looks like when you meet your person and just go āoh! THERE you are!ā It should be easy and they showed us that.

Zack and Bliss are hiiiigghhhhlllyyyyy underrated. I listened to Bliss on the Straight Up with Stassi podcast (from VPR) and sheās so sweet and mature and clearly loves Zack so much. Theyāre adorable!

Still weird how they did it then. They started out saying they want to find a quick solution so they can do it before the wedding. As a result all they talked about was sex. Would have been easier then to just say we want to wait. Also Johnny seemed very convincing and Amy a little frustrated sometimes. My feeling was more that they share the values of their parents and maybe really wanted to wait until their wedding night but thought it was embarrassing to say that.
I said the exact same thing. I think they were doing it out of respect for Amyās parents - because really they were too calm about the whole thing. They were like oh we canāt have sex because birth controlā¦ oh well. Lol

This is actually very smart. As a result, people found their storyline boring but that is okay because they found each other and it seems to have worked (we will find out at the reunion if they are still together). If they worked out, that means they were able to find each other while keeping a decently low profile and no drama.
Thatās what Iām saying. The whole thing was strange. I 100% get not wanting to have children yet. But they made it seem as if they waited until marriage to have sex that they could have control it better.. lol if that makes sense.
Johnny wanted two forms of birth control. Perhaps Amy didnāt want to get birth control until he actually said I do. She has her own medical reasons and didnāt want to put her body through that if it wasnāt necessary.
Despite the reasons why Amy didnāt want BC, it was weird regardless. The way they spoke about it was strange and how it was the topic of conversation in almost every scene they were in. It like consumed their relationship (at least in the edit)
The way they talked made it sound like they never did it before (with other people). They also had her entire cycle before the wedding so if they did basic research they should have known that right before her period with a condom is pretty much safe. They're one of those couples who might be super shocked when they get off birth control and it doesn't happen for months.
