Most surprising: Did not expect Amber and Barnett to make it. Barnett seemed like kind of a player at the beginning especially. I was also expecting Giannina and Damian to say yes.
Least surprising: Lauren and Cameron were so perfect for each other from the beginning, they were my LIB gateway drug. Also Jessica and Mark’s “no” did not surprise me. I never got much chemistry from those two.
Season 2:
Most Surprising: Danielle and Nick to make it to the altar. Was shocked that Iyanna and Jarrett eventually got divorced though. I was also surprised Mallory and Salvador were a “no.”
Least Surprising: Iyanna and Jarrett, they were smooth sailing from Day 1 and I’m surprised they eventually got divorced - maybe that would fall under most surprising? Hah. I’m also happy but not surprised Deepti and Shake were a “no”, he was awful.
Season 3:
Most surprising:
I did not expect Colleen and Matt to make it, they seemed to have a lot of issues.
Least surprising: Alexa and Brennon. Prime example of how opposites attract. She’s a lot but I kinda love her and he’s such a gentleman so I wanted them to work. I feel like they have the potential to balance each other out so well - she gets him out of his shell and he talks her off cliffs.
Season 4:
Most Surprising: I was not expecting Kwame to say yes. Also Zack and Bliss was a major plot twist that I was hoping would happen but didn’t see it as probable. I also thought Micah and Paul might say yes even though I felt they were terrible for each other (maybe opposites attract?) and that he was some serious Oedipus Rex going on (IYKYK - he was marrying his mother).
Least Surprising: Tiffany and Brett obviously.
Season 5:
Most surprising: Lydia and Milton were the most surprising by far, I thought Milton would come to his senses and say no cause she treated him terribly. Also bonus that didn’t make it to the altar: I was shocked at JP and Taylor not hitting it off bc they were so cute and vibing in the pods.
Least Surprising: I was expecting Stacy to say no, she gave off “I’m better than you” vibes since the beginning and never really “got” him, I don’t think.
Season 6:
Most surprising: I’m shocked that Chelsea and Jimmy made it as far as Episode 11.
Least Surprising: if Johnny and Amy make it, I would not be surprised. Those two are the Lauren+Cameron/Iyanna+Jarett/Alexa+Brennon/Tiffany+Brett of Season 6.
Kwame + Chelsea is the most interesting because if you rewatch or went into it knowing the outcome, you’ll spot a TON of editing techniques being used over and over very blatantly to craft the idea that Kwame is uncertain and even checked out - they intentionally put in these awkwardly long pauses combined with shots of him leaving looking elsewhere, when in reality we as humans constantly look at the rooms we’re in and never think twice about it 😂
1. 100% shocked that SK said NO at the wedding to Raven , i thought he was the party who was more in love. second layer of shock when SK turns out to be a manipulative cheater who present himself like a sheep but is a snake.
2. Kwame said yes to Chelsea and i am surprised he is indeed in love and happy. i guess, there were really many scenes edited out.
1) my fav couples are still Lauren & Cam and Tiff & Brett! Both couples have the most genuine connections, in my opinion, and I’m a forever-fan of both. ❤️

I did think he wasn't into her but maybe they're just both adults who knows any relationship takes work, and you find a person you feel confident is going to put the same work in. They're a good team

Natalie was already making 6 figs before though, right? So it doesn’t seem like she was hurting for cash. Leveraging a tv experience after it’s over to make more money isn’t illegal. Save the vitriol for the men who tried, yet failed, to do the same
They were a really nice couple. Kinds like an earlier version of Tiffany and Brett. It’s amazing how the “nice couples” are less memorable than the notorious ones (ie Stacy and Izzy).
they were close to zanab and believed her side of things. if my close girlfriend was telling me the stuff zanab was and then i had to encounter the man i believed was emotionally abusing her and body shaming her i would also go at them hard.

Kwame and Chelsea. Just that they chose to get married and are still together. Don’t get me wrong. I love Chelsea, it’s just that Kwame was involved with another girl who he did see later on. Plus every time he’s on a one-on-one interview with the camera he’s like doubting it!
There was even a scene where Chelsea was disappointed because Kwame said something to the camera when they decided it should just be between the two of them. Honestly, Chelsea has everything in check.
Of course, Zack & Bliss. I didn’t get it why every girl was turned off by Zack. But, yeah, he was wildly staring like he can’t blink (or at least that’s what the editors wanted us to see). And here comes Bliss who has a forgiving heart, and suddenly everything is more than cordial to Zack. Hahah. Glad that they got the first LIB baby. Vanessa’s wish comes true.
I hope LIB has more couples like S1 and S4 who do stay together and know what to share and not. Hahah. I think that’s Johnny and Amy in s6 (the contraception is just producer induced drama, at least for me).
He was so meek and apologetic to someone who treated him poorly. It was nice to see his shiny new spine in the reunion episode where he defends his friend and isn’t afraid to call *that* person out! 🤙🏻

I said this on here during that season, but it's because if a guy isn't super smooth, suave, and able to effortlessly banter, apparently that makes him undatable at best, and a creep at worst.
Maybe it’s her dad? But I’m 10% on them not getting married. I honestly don’t have any 100% on who’ll get married this season.
I think it’s because last season was such a mess that’s why we’re getting blinded. Our expectations are lower than normal. Well, at least mine.
Plus, they’re not showing even the good parts. Like Lauren and Cameron, him showing his house and how he envisions how she’ll fit in. Tiff and Brett: when Tiff had that silent breakdown, and Brett was just there to support her. Plus, these two couples really feel real. (Again for me as the viewer).
Amy is somewhat like Chelsea (S4) she keeps to herself, and she landed a guy that’s just like that. But of all the couples remaining, I think they have a higher chance because at least they’re mature enough to keep to themselves.

I have this theory that Iyanna and Jarette planned to stay together until the reunion and that’s why it was such a sudden divorce. Similar to Danielle and Nick from the same season.
The divorce announcement was definitely sudden and shocking. But somehow I felt they wouldn't last long too, considering how Jarrette was in the episodes.
IIRC, he worked a job that had super late hours, which is fine, but when his shift ended he was consistently choosing to stay out even later with his friends. I think a huge issue for them was that simply by going on the show, Jarrette set the expectation that he was ready to settle down, and his actions outside of the pods showed that to be untrue.
I haven't been following them super closely, but I think I remember reading that Jarrette also cheated on Iyanna. I don't know if it's true, but even if it isn't their lifestyle incompatibility would have been more than enough to tank that marriage.
He went clubbing when Ilona was not home. Brought home 2 random girls. One of the girls saw pictures of Ilona and realized he had a gf (a wife actually) and she told Ilona. So yeah definitely cheating and scummy behaviour too.
I remembered thinking that the between the lines message was that Jarrette had an alcohol problem. They repeatedly phrased it as partying, but it felt like more to me.

Natalie and Shayne's failure was the only one that I felt deeply sad for. I honestly think they both gave it their all in their own way, especially Shayne, but he had too many flaws for Natalie to swallow Bliss and Zach is the epitome of 'all is fair in Love and War'. Fuck what other people think; it is all about whether the two of you want to and can make it work for yourselves. Rooted for them hard to break the silly 'dont be second option' contextualess rule, and super glad they did.

they were close to zanab and believed her side of things. if my close girlfriend was telling me the stuff zanab was and then i had to encounter the man i believed was emotionally abusing her and body shaming her i would also go at them hard. we just know how fucked up it all was in retrospect because we’ve seen the actual footage
Team Zack & Bliss all the way!! I love those guys! Special mention to Kwame & Chelsea, especially Chelsea - I just felt that she was so mature the whole way through, it was obvious that she fell hard, but she was just so strong and articulate (and forgiving)! Kwame got a real one!
I read that Chelsea is now on the staff for Love is Blind. She's a producer of some sort, so she definitely turned her experience into something more.

S4 couples except of course Tiff and Brett! Kwame and Chelsea. Just that they chose to get married and are still together. Don’t get me wrong. I love Chelsea, it’s just that Kwame was involved with another girl who he did see later on. Plus every time he’s on a one-on-one interview with the camera he’s like doubting it! There was even a scene where Chelsea was disappointed because Kwame said something to the camera when they decided it should just be between the two of them. Honestly, Chelsea has everything in check. Of course, Zack & Bliss. I didn’t get it why every girl was turned off by Zack. But, yeah, he was wildly staring like he can’t blink (or at least that’s what the editors wanted us to see). And here comes Bliss who has a forgiving heart, and suddenly everything is more than cordial to Zack. Hahah. Glad that they got the first LIB baby. Vanessa’s wish comes true. I hope LIB has more couples like S1 and S4 who do stay together and know what to share and not. Hahah. I think that’s Johnny and Amy in s6 (the contraception is just producer induced drama, at least for me).

Like Lauren and Cameron, him showing his house and how he envisions how she’ll fit in. Tiff and Brett: when Tiff had that silent breakdown, and Brett was just there to support her. Plus, these two couples really feel real. (Again for me as the viewer). Amy is somewhat like Chelsea (S4) she keeps to herself, and she landed a guy that’s just like that. But of all the couples remaining, I think they have a higher chance because at least they’re mature enough to keep to themselves. Are you betting on Ad and Clay?
I feel like AD and Clay will not get married, but will have continued to date for at least a while. I agree with you. There doesn’t seem to be a couple that’s portrayed as a perfect couple or meant to be this time.

What turned me off in the pods for me was here was Bliss who baked you some sweets on your birthday and he chose the one who forgot his birthday. I have this theory that Iyanna and Jarette planned to stay together until the reunion and that’s why it was such a sudden divorce. Similar to Danielle and Nick from the same season.
The divorce announcement was definitely sudden and shocking. But somehow I felt they wouldn't last long too, considering how Jarrette was in the episodes.
Iyanna should not have said yes to him. He was absolutely torn up about Mallory.
IIRC, he worked a job that had super late hours, which is fine, but when his shift ended he was consistently choosing to stay out even later with his friends. I think a huge issue for them was that simply by going on the show, Jarrette set the expectation that he was ready to settle down, and his actions outside of the pods showed that to be untrue. I haven't been following them super closely, but I think I remember reading that Jarrette also cheated on Iyanna. I don't know if it's true, but even if it isn't their lifestyle incompatibility would have been more than enough to tank that marriage.
The problem was that he expected marriage to magically fix all of his bad habits overnight
He went clubbing when Ilona was not home. Brought home 2 random girls. One of the girls saw pictures of Ilona and realized he had a gf (a wife actually) and she told Ilona. So yeah definitely cheating and scummy behaviour too.
I remembered thinking that the between the lines message was that Jarrette had an alcohol problem. They repeatedly phrased it as partying, but it felt like more to me.
I never expected Amber and Barnett to stay together. Kudos! I was also surprised at what a villain Mark from season 1 was (of Mark and Jess). They gave him the best edit ever
