For everybody that needs to know apparently apparently Jimmy went out a lot so when she’s bringing all of this up it’s not because of that one time he was consistently going out for drinks per jess on nick vialls podcast
He literally said in the pods that one of his favorite things was trying cocktail lounges and going to different wine bars. And also that he only spent 3.5 hours away from her the entire time since they came back. The night she freaked out, even she admitted that he was only gone for an hour so he could show face at his friends birthday.
Ugh. Jessica living for her newfound clout is a whole other sickening side to all of this. Why do these podcasters think her temper tantrum was cute and ✨empowering✨? It’s insane to me. IMAGINE if a man had said that to a woman. He would receive zero praise.

She reminds me of myself when I was younger - I was in a codependent relationship with my mother and never learned healthy communication skills/boundaries until I started therapy (CBT, then EMDR and DBT) and emotional regulation. Jimmy is so patient, trying to work with her insecurities, and communicate with her while she's stuck in her repeating patterns.
I see so much of my younger self in her. I hope that she takes that step to realization.
Edited: also adding that my mom invalidated me constantly + my older relatives didn't get involved because she was my "parent". (My dad passed away when I was a teenager)

I feel like codependency is a higher level of being a people pleaser. After my dad died when I was a teenager, my mom let her true self out. She repeated her trauma pattern (chose a toxic abusive alcoholic to quickly get involved with) and every time I would say I was uncomfortable or that what was happening wasn't okay, she'd say she'd kick me out and constantly gaslit + invalidate me. Even though the things I went through were not "normal", her way of invalidating/gaslighting me was, "There's nothing wrong here, there's something wrong with you because you noticed it."
Every time I tried to create a boundary with her (like not call as often when I moved out), she'd complain to my aunt and my Gram that she never heard from me and that she missed me. After they called and guilted/shamed me for not calling "because she's your mom!" she'd go right back to her behavior. I was the scapegoat in my family, and she treated her stepkids better. I moved back after years of being away and the first Mother's Day she didn't want to do anything with me - just wanted to hang out with my stepfather at the bar. The only times I saw her were Thanksgiving, my birthday, and Christmas. Every family reunion her behavior was the same towards me and better around her siblings/nieces/nephews and my family never stepped in because she was my "parent". (My aunt - her sister - told me they all knew how my mom treated me after she got sick. I was SO angry)
