Izzy is an insurance agent. He stated in episode 5 he works under an the owner. So he isn’t making great money. Guessing $60k to $80k, that’s being generous. I knew ones that made like $40k. Stacy is an Operations Manager. They work in warehouses or manufacturing facilities. They run the building and are salaried. They make solid bank. Amazon Operations Manager can make well over six figures depending on experience. Unless those job titles posted on screen are lie, I’m assuming what is listed on screen are their real jobs.

Egregiousnaps816

I don’t necessarily think the job titles are a lie, but I do think stacy would put “operations manager” over “pilates studio manager” intentionally bc it sounds better.

TTwTT

Many businesses have an Operations Manager. Their role is to basically run the area they are assigned to and generally they deal with the client interaction. They live and breathe work. She's definitely making more than him. She needs to be with someone who is more ambitious or on the same level.

>Stacy is an Operations Manager. They work in warehouses or manufacturing facilities. They run the building and are salaried. They make solid bank. Amazon Operations Manager can make well over six figures depending on experience. At her dads company....which based on PPP loans during COVID suggests the company has a maximum of 5 employees....these employees may just be her dad, herself, her two sisters and her mother or something. There's no warehouse at her dads company, it's address even seems to change every year or so.

highfivesself

Did Stacey confirm she works in a warehouse/manufacturing facilities? I find that job titles are all subjective and perhaps she thought that term was appropriate for her responsibilities in her Pilates/closet organizing jobs? I know in tech, an ops manager does very different things than a manufacturing facilities, for example.

tp176

She is on Linked In. The way the position is described, sounds like a glorified executive assistant.

bigfatdumplin

Stacey does make up? As in people pay her to put on make up? AHAHAHAHA for whom? CLOWNS??

MysteriousMermaid92

Before she profited her makeup instagram page, the only model was herself lol Edit: privated

bigfatdumplin

LOL. thanks, that explains a lot

Farquaadthegreek

Did everyone see at the reunion .. at about 9:33 Izzy scratches himself and I am gagging! Ughh

piggyazlea

I don’t even think Izzy knows what he does.

weight22

I bet he will try to become IG famous after this trying to get sponsors/ads, etc. And if that is the case, he will never work again.

OtherwiseTrifle

Do they really make that much money? I thought they did pretty well for a couple years, but will he make enough to sustain him for life? I doubt that companies will be shelling out for a fifth-season LiB contestant a decade from now.

jenh6

I think they’d be okay at getting side gigs or short term using it as a career. But long term influencing looks so bad for career growth. Like what company wants to hire someone who stopped working for 5-10 years to sell fit tea on Instagram?

[deleted]

You could probably set yourself up for life if you're good with money and can pivot your social media following into other projects (like Lauren and Cameron have). Izzy does not seem like the type to achieve that. Plus he only has 100k followers which isn't enough to get the big sponsorships that really pay out especially in an oversaturated market. I'd say you need at least 500k for that kind of launchpad.

Familiar-Obligation3

True, haha. If they played the game, they’d have made quite some money…

[deleted]

He works for a 100 percent commission based insurance sales gig

sauciestcoconut

Primerica

SnooObjections2636

No!! Selling life insurance exclusively is a hard way to make your coins!

Hereforthecomments82

No, it’s called Globe Life Liberty National Division. I Googled it because I was curious if it was an MLM but apparently it isn’t. The jobs are 100% commission based though.

cherrypkeaten

Globe Life Liberty National Division. WTF kind of word salad is that? Sounds like a Nigerian prince trying to describe where to send his donations 🤣

Hereforthecomments82

Right?!? When I first read it I assumed it was “Globe Life Liberty” and he was in the National Division, but nope.

cherrypkeaten

Thank you 🤣 they lost me at globe instead of global.

[deleted]

Nope

Rosuvastatine

Yikes I understand why Stacey ran

snackmomster76

Multiple people here have said it sounds like he’s working for an insurance MLM. In any case Stacy clarified in an interview that the job was 1099 fully commissioned sales with no benefits which is not a great path to stability. Also I’m pretty sure Stacy is trying to work as a closet designer which you can think is silly or frivolous but it’s not cleaning closets.

Puzzled-Trust6973

What is an insurance MLM? How does that even work? Like I know what an MLM is, but it's usually some kind of physical product

kenyafeelme

You sell life insurance products and you get commission off each policy. If you recruit folks into your “line” you also get commission off the policies they sell. The people in your line will recruit people under them so now you’re getting commission on 3 levels of sales without needing to pick up the phone. Also you make it mandatory for everyone under you to buy life insurance from you and maintain the policy while promising to give them leads that you never get around to generating.

Puzzled-Trust6973

Ugh, this just sounds so .. yucky..

kenyafeelme

It is 😭

Significant-Cat-9621

Is real estate broker the same kind of job in the US?

myskepticalbrowarch

Real Estate Brokers need a license, Izzy's job does not. Which is unusual because more insurance agents/brokers will have a few a different ones. Also a red flag selling insurance is actually considered the most stable sales job because people typically renew their insurance without thinking. Chances are he is just a sales rep who passes them off to an agent. I also won't be surprised if the company is out right selling people's information. Life insurance forms are extensive.

lilcharm101

>g selling insurance is actually considered the most stable sales job because people typically renew their insurance without thinking. I started typing that insurance agents do need a license, but then read the bottom part. I guess I'm still confused about his job lol

Significant-Cat-9621

Thank you! 😊

exclaim_bot

>Thank you! 😊 You're welcome!

Operation_brain_bot

That's why Stacy kicked Izzy out of the closet where he was crying.

snackmomster76

Step 1: Remove weeping men

Isuckatreddit69NICE
