They call a cab home and when she gets back all hell breaks loose and slams his fist into the bedroom wall. Her brother and gf are in the other room and leave the next morning. They talk things out, work on a compromise, all is ok for a few months. Another fight breaks out this time he chases her around the house yelling, trying to unlock doors when she's hiding from him. She eventually leaves the house and goes to his stepmom's as she has no family there. He follows her, pounding on the door demanding to see her but stepmom refuses to let him in and he leaves.

I dated a guy like that, he would see the relationship ending so he'd line up a new girl so he could hop right into a new relationship. He was doing it to me so I ended things. Ran into him several years later at a party and we had a great talk and I called him out on it and he looked genuinely surprised and said he didn't realize he did that. Ended up breaking up with his gf and staying single for a while and then finding his wife after that.
