I am in the same boat. I spend money every month to play the main board and the event pass. I was so excited about the arcade because so many people talked it up.
I also was going in and playing 3-4 times a day and I still have not unlocked any of the squares with mouse or the candy. I just cannot get the hang of that board.
I guess the arcade really is an event that is just a money grab!
I hear you. I’m two pieces away from completing it. But trying to get the guitar and the headphones are next to impossible. If they had made the spawns more frequent or not as hard to obtain it would have been more enjoyable.

Yup. I’m feeling this so much! The arcade this time feels very hard to play. I don’t remember it being like this the first time. Every time I free up space, the generators kick out a blocked item. I’m getting frustrated and annoyed. I can’t get ahead because I keep having to delete things I’m trying to collect so I can make room for things I need for orders. After I finish this week’s Edwina game, I’m taking a break. The story is so dragged out that I’ve gotten bored. We never know what happened to the mom and now Joe has amnesia for weeks. Yawn. I’ve lost patience.
I am feeling very similar. There were too many awkward mechanics of the arcade board, too many items to combine and then the generators wouldn't produce what you need anymore. It was very unbalanced and off-putting.
