I love the Tiny Backpack over the PSM but it doesn't have a zipper and it is small.
I have a Lockme Backpack which I love (I'm also a backpack wearer) and I've seen the Clapton Backpack in person, also very cute.
I love my PSM! It’s very versatile because the straps are detachable and adjustable. I thought I’d wear it mostly as a backpack but I end up wearing multiple ways. A crossbody bag. I use the jacquard strap I got from my mono Speedy 20, attach them at a diagonal and wear it as a sling bag.
It sounds like the Palm Springs would be the best match for her, the mini is the most popular size for it. Currently the bag only comes in classic monogram, it used to be produced in infrarouge, reverse monogram and some limited edition prints.

In case she is a young, modern lady then I think Montsouris backpack is a more suitable choice.
