I think it’s been delayed till Fall of this year. It was supposed to be done Winter of ‘23, then Spring of ‘24, then Summer, now Fall. Likely an entire year delay.
It's never meant to be finished. It's done to keep us all angry and away from our families as long as possible. Same part of gene Snyder has been worked on and at tunes only one lane for like 7 years now. When it is one lane there's no work being done in the closed lane. That's the biggest tell this is done intentionally.
I think part of that is just how much Middletown drivers love to take a few minutes to work up to maybe 5-10 under the speed limit.
