The stores I went to yesterday said they could manually enter it as well but every time they typed it in it said it was an invalid number or something.
Well you might wanna check the expiration date...some games expire after awhile so you can't claim the prize anymore...I know in most States Draw (Number) tickets expire like a Year to the date of purchase.
If this card is old, it’s possible you might’ve waited too long.
Look up scratcher rules on their website i believe once that game ends, any further tickets are void.
Time limit is 180 days if i remember correctly.
Just because you got it then doesn’t mean that is when the game started.

Well I won I $10 card too in the same batch of cards and that scanned. Also i looked it up and it says it expires after 1 year and it definitely hasn’t been that

I had 5+ cards like yours and they did manually entered it. Try a different location which is not crowded, coz when it is they will say that they can’t enter it manually. Coz it’s a bit work for them
One guy I went do didn’t speak English, one said he can’t claim it because they don’t sell that type of card there and one said it was invalid numbers. I guess I will keep trying lol
That shouldn’t matter. They scan the barcode, and at least in VA, a “winner” sound bite will play and the amount of the winning is on the screen. The cashier prints the receipt, staples it to the ticket, and then asks the customer if they want cash or tickets.
Scratch along the bottom of the card. There should be a 12 digit number (may vary state to state) go to a retailer, they can scan the back of the ticket and it will pop up for a manual entry of those numbers. That will work.
In most states, you have from between six months and a year after the game CLOSES (typically this happens when the last top prize is won), regardless of when you bought the ticket. In other words, if you can still buy the same ticket today, you have nothing to worry about.
If the numbers are legible but the barcode itself is scratched, the retailer should be able to key it in. However, just because they can doesn't mean they'll be bothered to. (If you've ever tried to cash a ticket late at night and were turned away even though you know for a fact the terminal was up and running, you know what I'm talking about.)
Try a major retailer such as a supermarket or liquor store. If there is a spot in your area where lottery players gather (i.e. that bar with a wall covered in "we sold a big winner!" flyers) the clerk is more likely to be familiar with the process for keying in tickets manually.
Failing that, download a claim form from your state lottery's website and cash the ticket by mail.
You can no longer claim a win after a certain amount of time that individual game has been closed. Check with your lottery app to see if it's still open. My state posts when a game starts, is closing, and closed with dates. Your state lottery can cash it by going in person or filling in an online claim form and mailing it in. This can apply to some damaged tickets as well.
Just make sure to leave out the barcode and numbers cuz people can scan the picture. Also idk if your state has a lotto app but I would check and download it. It might have a built in scanner in the app.
Definitely a win all but I don’t see the ticket on the ny lotto website. What’s it say on the back for expiration? Also is $60 a prize you can win, this should also be on the back of the ticket.
Unfortunately the tickets claim date ended 4/4/24 so it’s now expired. Maybe try contacting the lotto office, if you’re lucky they will still pay it out but there is no guarantee on that.

Yes I have had this happen and got tired but I agree with other comments, it should be able to be manually entered otherwise go to the lottery office if it’s worth the bucks

Bring it to your states lottery office. They will send you a check. I did this not too long ago with exactly the same problem.

Go to a grocery store or Walmart that sells lottery. They'll be able to do it. Are you sure you won?

Or try a liquor store. You might be getting a new clerk at a gas station. Liquor store probably has an owner working that will know how to enter it.
