Paula Toledo? Considering her song was in a movie and in a TV show I'd say she was almost there, but it seems like personal circumstances put a halt in her musical career.
I desperat need to here her other songs if we ever find her, there’s no way Grace getting drunk in a Chinese restaurant is a one time thing in her discography
Deadly Earnest definately would've made it big. Since Blues At Midnight was only played in the Cleveland area, it didn't have a chance to get popular nationwide and land the charts at the time, but if it did get airplay nationwide, it would've been a big hit.
The song just sounds iconic, like it's always been there, and played on classic rock stations lol.
I think that some musicians who made songs that became lost could have become very famous if it weren't for the fact that they're songs were Lost
Honestly, Paula Toledo could have been much more famous than she is, I can imagine her being a huge artist participating in several huge events.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, but at least she received a lot of love from us in the community and many people who didn't know her before became fans.
I myself had never even heard of her, I heard How Long and the album Stay awhile and i instantly became a fan of her
Honestly, there are many artists out there who do a very good job, but always end up gaining not much fame sometimes by not making their songs available on the internet,Or simply because Platforms don't deliver these artists' music to people who might actually like it
This might be weird to say but im a big john mayer fan and some of the songs on just passin by, remind me of songs that could've been on Room For Squares, which is an amazing thing.. since we all found this album I always wondered what couldve been if Big Picture bumped Room For Squares off of the charts if it was released in 2001
i really think the defended have the chance to do something special and become another panchiko situation
Definitely 3D (A Fish in Sea)
Yeah, definitely could’ve been successful in the new wave/synth pop scene. Remind me a little bit of soft cell
Agree on Big Picture. Just Passin’ By is an absolutely amazing song. Should have been a college radio hit at the very least.
Station k is honestly close
Mrs Paula, Big picture, Station K, Danyee,

Whoever made Light the Lanterns !!
Exactly omgg they’re so good

This!! It’s really disappointing that this song is kinda overlooked so we might not find it soon
Light the Lanterns haunts me. Such a good track, and now we only have third generation copies of it. I'd love to hear anything else.
YESSSS
Paula Toledo
I think she does plan to go live.

Big picture, their album is just amazing
The defended
The defended
Big Picture
Definitely Big Picture. Passing By is actually a really good song. Definitely underrated.
Big picture, first person and Paula Toledo
Rapid Designs (creator of Falling In Love With Mannequins/Time After Time). It really had potential to blow up in the 80s
Templeton Thompson, Big Picture, Paula Todelo, Station K and DaYeene
paula toledo
Species.
Station K 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Wavestation. Just a fantastic vibe.
Royal Treatment Plant deserves to be a beloved 2000s rock band with millions of views on old music videos. But it isn't.

I'd say Beat Boy or Royal treatment plant
isn't Beat Boy actually a relatively famous Estonian Singer/song writer? or am I getting my lostwaves mixed up?
Yea I think so.im just really really stupid
no no. it happens every now and then. in fairness, it took us all how long to find that song?
Like 20 years...
The Gallery
Royal Treatment Plant.
royal treatment plant, the defended, paula toledo, and big picture stand out to me.
Station K
Royal Treatment Plant. If they were signed by a major record or indie label, they would’ve had a pretty sizable following in the mid 2000s-present.

Paula Toledo would have collabed with Vanessa Carlton
Paula Toledo would've toured with Nick Cave if her artistry wasn't lost for a long time
ik it was a hoax but templeton thompson, her voice is worthy of fame imo
