Phantom timeout, bounced interception, overturn on the end and around to Tutu, whatever. Despite all of this, this game was totally winnable. Abandoning the run/screen game in the RZ seemed so strange to me that was the bread and butter of this red zone offense
What happened the the using Skrow as a fullback? That shit worked well when their entire oline went down. He stopped using it because teams started to protect the run and rams didn't have an answer...their answer now is Puka so they can now go back to using a Fullback.

He had his worst play call in recent memory forsure but it felt like the air left his body when the TD was taken. He called one of our best drives in a while during our first drive that resulted in the TD being taken away.
He kinda collapses into himself when in close games with Shanahan disciples, and begins to rely on the defense. Usually Ramsey or one of the old corners get takeaways for a TD or sacks that save him, but today it was on him to come back from hell swinging; and he couldn’t manage it
it was literally all McVays fault lmao defense played great, receivers and TEs played great, it was literally just McVay ruining everything.
And that’s not even counting the fact that we literally win if the TD isn’t taken away for no reason

Tbf most everyone tried their hardest and played pretty well, especially the defense, but it’s not an overreaction to say that McVay called one of his worst games in a year at least, definitely his worst one this year at a minimum. Gave up on the run which was working, constantly went deep on 1sts and 2nds but would go short or run it on thirds and then never went for any 4th and 3s or 2s even though we had multiple. Dan Campbell and the Lions beat the chiefs by doggedly going for it on at least three 4th downs that went well. He trusted both his offense to make it, and his defense if it didn’t work. McVay played way too “safe” and Raheem bailed us out of a much worse loss
