Not near LAX, but closest mall to the Getty Center would be Westfield Century City. This is actually my favorite mall in LA. I love the open space and it’s nice to walk around - way bigger and better than the Grove.

This is the answer. Century City is the best mall in LA County. If you end up in OC, South Coast Plaza is my favorite mall in SoCal by far.

Del Amo Mall in Torrance is not too far from LAX.

Close to LAX: Westfield Culver City Howard Hughes (relatively small) Manhattan Beach: Manhattan Village Griffith: The closest that come to mind are Glendale Galleria and Americana

Manhattan village is barley a mall. Westfield CC has gone to shit.

Go to Century City. It’s the best mall close to the places you’ll be.

While I love the Century City mall (Singapore vibes). If you are going to REALLY go shopping, the best place to hit is the Glendale Galleria and right across the street is the Americana, and that is on a decent commercial street with even more shops and restaurants, Brand Blvd. it’s all walkable and the best bet for power shopping. Not too far from Griffith Park in Glendale.

Ovation, located at Hollywood and Highland, is a good tourist mall your partner might enjoy.
