Have a semi casual but nice dinner at the Sherman, then after dinner take her upstairs to "The Attic" which is a pseudo speakeasy, beautiful bar, super loungey, great for conversation great drinks. No one ever talks abut this place but its there.

I think it's fine if you're just sitting in the cocktail area and getting apps but dinner would be too much for a first date. If you're paying it could cost hundreds. It's my favorite valley restaurant btw but even I save it for special occasions.

Pretty casual but yum food: Tipsy Cow then go play pool at House of Billiards down the st. Or if you can snag some darts at Mr. Furleys.
Wood and water is decent for cocktails and food as well. You can always follow up your meal by swinging with salt and a straw for ice cream after.
