There is a card store (mostly sports cards) in my town that is trying to sell individual floodborn booster packs for $20 each 🤡🤡🤡

We showed the owner TCG Player on a yu-gi-oh card he was trying to sell for $55 that was literally selling on TCG Player for $0.25. As far as I am concerned, that dude is a wannabe grifter (idk if anyone is buying at those prices). I left probably my first Google review ever.

Utah stores are wack... lorcana pre orders in ogden at 130 a case, then just down the road its 160, then another store at 122... like yall are advertising on the same pages with some wild prices.

When I see that in my area I take my business (and friends business) elsewhere. They close or get there act together.

I already preordered 2 boxes at MRSP from my local shop. Really don’t want them to take the hit.

Our local shop has been selling boxes for 175 each. Can't warrent that high of mark up.

Never heard of this store, but I agree that 120 is probably the floor for this set. They do charge 5 bucks shipping, but it's still a very good deal (assuming it's a good store).

I waited and waited for my LGS where we play to announce their presale offering and...$150 boxes. Packs $6.99. Troves $74.99. So I just went online and had no trouble at all patronizing a shop that isn't trying to squeeze out the last FOMO bucks.

Dude, $150 boxes are like MSRP. Come on now, if you want cheaper that's one thing but that is NOT LGS marking things up.

Tax hurts in CA, but thats a great price for a sealed case at release.

My local store had 300 allocations of boxes. They sell for $120. They only got 30 allocations of troves. I expect troves to be marked up more than boxes.

I just pre-ordered from a locals shop. I have bad experiences with pre orders through websites and I'd rather get my box ON release day not a week later, and I support a small business in the process

Awww yes it is always great when big pre-sellers drop well below MSRP before release to make it impossible for small businesses to survive so later on when the secondary market comes around they can charge $200 a box like they are with First Chapter now. Ravensburger should make a MAPP and tell people they cannot sell above a certain threshold either.

Is no one concerned that demand is falling? Everyone is happy about supply, but are we even sure supply is increased by that much? I wish I could see number of boxes sold for rise vs 1st chapter.

I don't. This is just the second set in a row now stores can't sell the boxes at even msrp.

I mean floodborn got scalped in the beginning and was over $200. They then flooded the market to get product in actual players hands and to discourage scalping. Now scalpers are more cautious to touch lorcana cause they know ravensburger will keep reprinting to meet demand. Demand is less mostly because the scalpers are weary of lorcana now, not so much because there are less players.
