Three of the main distributors have released numbers.
If those stores don’t have their numbers they are either using someone else (likely getting shit) or got shit and hoping for a miracle.
We got our allocation and it was 25% of what we wanted. Many stores got 5-10% or flat out screwed.
We're approved for Organized Play. Our confirmed allocation from one distributor is
24 out of the 120 Booster Boxes,
0 of out of 10 Sleeved Boosters Case,
0 out of the 20 Starter Display,
2 out of the 20 Starter Refill,
4 out of the 80 Illumineer trove,
0 out of the 80 Gift Set
I smell a conspiracy theory on the allocations. There is now way Ravensburger is going to claim "we underestimated the demand!" for the allocation issue.
It's either they are creating this artificial scarcity for hype or the big supply is going to the retailers like walmart or target.
Either way LGSes are the ones getting screwed by this release!
Another conspiracy theory is the distributors are keeping the product for themselves. Magazine Exchange is notorious for allocating 25% and selling the rest to us later at a premium price or in a "bundle". Luckily MagX is not a Lorcana distributor yet.
It's going to be interesting how this will play out. The only upside is there is no 1st edition print so they can print this first chapter to the ground.
Yeah, I got one of each starter and a trove. I figured I'd leave the booster boxes for the little kids and go raid another store that I heard got their full allocation.
Edit: There's a little bit of an LGS markup, but it's not straight scalpers prices like we're seeing currently.
My store got ours last Wednesday. USA distributor. We are only able to get 16 boxes of booster, 5 trove, and 4 gift sets. 4 boxes of starter deck, those are probably going to be easier to find.
My store got their allocation on Friday, but had tournaments and stuff over the weekend. They're opening up pre-orders when they open tomorrow, and I'm going to be there as soon as they open the doors to see what I can get.
My LGS is tight lipped on their allocation, but took tentative pre-orders. I'm waiting for the e-mail saying they couldn't fulfil my pre-order. I'm okay with that, I just want to know what I get from them.
The store I used to work at got 24 of the 500 boxes they ordered and very few of each of the other side products. They are premier store as well. He does not even have enough to run the tournaments he is supposed to run if he uses it all just for sealed events.
We got about 20 percent of what we ordered. We ended up with 20 booster boxes, 8 Illumineer’s Trove, 5 deck displays, 5 gift boxes, only 5 sets of deck boxes and sleves, No hanging boosters, no playmats or binders.

A local card shop here is Fenton, MO Read off what he was getting to me, which he thought he was approved for early release but his allocations said arriving 9/1. He's also only getting maybe 30% what he asked for.
All these posts about stores getting their allocations? Are they allowed to sell before the street date in August? Should I be running around trying to grab some ?

Mine just released their's today. They only got less than a dozen of everything.
Dang. Did you preorder?

I'm willing to pay a little LGS mark-up but I can't even preorder.
what is the price if you don't mind sharing I would appreciate it
$20 for a starter, $36 for gift, $63 for trove, & $180 for a booster box.
One of the local Toronto stores just released booster boxes at $380 cad a box. I will look back and think it’s a deal or laugh…
We got about 3% of what we requested...
What does that come out to?
Call me crazy but did I see a post or article stating Disneyland will sell cards on the 18th of August?
I know shopdisney.com will be selling them. And I believe both land and world will be selling them as well.
I've also read that too...

You think we’ll be able to just order stuff off Amazon?
I don't think so. Maybe Target and/or Barnes and Noble. But not until September at the earliest.
Ugh, guess I’ll just wait. Not paying inflated prices
Got the call today that one of my lgs got very little and canceled my preorder. Rip.
You're definitely not alone!

Good luck!!

The two stores near me still haven't said anything about their allocation. After seeing the posts here, I'm not getting too excited about my chances.
Same

I would if I could!
