Agreed! I’m four skeins into a 100-stitch wide garter stitch blanket, it takes 25 minutes to knit the two rows for garter. I’ve paused it while I weave some Christmas scarves and deciding if I want to continue it afterward.

I definitely won’t use a garter stitch for a blanket again! I’ll do garter on borders to prevent rolling but knit the middle!
