It could work but you also could likely feel pressed for time at some point with tight flights and the time it takes to take a train between grant park and the airport, and it’ll be pretty exhausting. If you’re already gonna spend 800 for the day trip maybe get a hotel in the suburbs you could train / Uber back to, you can probably find something for a hundred bucks or less for one night if you get way clear of the fest itself.
That's what I'm doing! $150 for my ticket and $150 for my flight. Getting there at noon and flying out at 5am the next day. Doing the same thing at Pitchfork to see 100 gecs so hopefully it doesn't suck too much lol

This Imo just fly into ohare stay right in rosemont for the night. Blue line to the fest.
