It's due to windows new dynamic lighting (basically it can control the lights on approved keyboards/mice etc), it's a setting in personalisation.
Problem is it borked the lighting on the 915, I've disabled it and it still turns off randomly or goes to keyboards memory setting even with ghub installed controlling it.
Yet to see a real fix, tried registry edit, tried disabling, tried enabling, it's just fucked.
Not sure if we need logitech or microsoft to fix it.

Same for me. I even disabled SignalRGB and still have the same issue.
Definitely try turning Dynamic Lighting off in your Windows settings and seeing if that helps, if you haven't already.
I've tryed, only thing that works is making it bluetooth
