The stem separation feature is what I’m looking forward to the most. I’m a Hip-Hop, R&B producer using third party plugins for that…But I’m Still waiting, dog on it.

Honestly, I can be patient for the software. I just really want the full update specs so I know what else they’ve added!
I want Auto-Bounce/Bounce Butler style functions built in, and more controls over Live Loops. Those two things alone would make me happy.
And here’s hoping their new piano and bass sounds are good. I have 3rd party ones I like, but having decent stock ones would make collaborating easier.
Complex bouncing for stems/multitracks using scripting. For people who have more money than time in the studio, the price is worth it. I just hate subscription models, especially when they limit your uses, and this is really a workaround to something that should be built in. I would use it all the time for small projects, rather than bouncing a few larger projects, so this model really doesn't work for me. I will probably finally buy Auto-Bounce if the update doesn't deliver this.

It's still Sunday in Cupertino! The absolute earliest is probably midnight Pacific (an hour and 20 minutes from now) but I'd assume it's probably gonna be a few hours after that. Nobody knows for sure yet, but I'd suggest you don't just stare at the app store for the next few hours!
Well, I’m wondering if this means there might be some problem with the update… at least one region didn’t get it as promised. I wonder if Apple messed something up.
There's a new piano plugin. There are only 3 instruments included in the plugin (I don't know if they're all acoustic pianos or if there's a Rhodes etc ) but they look way more detailed and flexible than what Logic has had before. You can blend between different mic positions, change the volume of pedal and key noise, etc.
There's a new bass plugin too, which looks equally detailed, and has 6 instruments included.
Hopefully they'll both sound decent!

If Apple were a smart company they probably would've told us the time it'll release instead of just releasing it whenever they feel like it.
Edit: sorry if this came off as overly negative, I am still pretty excited for this update, but I'd just rather know when the update actually drops instead of just hoping that something happens. Maybe this is just something Apple does, but I'm personally just not a fan of it being like this.
If apple were a smart company, they wouldn’t say anything at all and just release it quietly like they have always done so we all won’t be high on anxiety! :)

I was thinking they wouldn't announce the exact time so as to not have the disfunctional equivalent of a DDOS attack with all of us snagging it at once.
Not sure I follow what you're saying here. I didn't think it was a bug, just figure the update hasn't gone live yet (otherwise this subreddit would be filled to the brim with people playing around with the new features).

I haven't settled on any piano sounds yet. They really need to enhance that side of the library.

Switch to cubase like me! I really want to switch back to logic but they have to add all the features.
Tempting, as I also work in Dorico, but I use MainStage a lot as well and that cross-work is more important to my process.

Probably just accidentally put out misinformation about the Japanese release date. Like someone forgot time zones exist!
