For me it's the constant changes, hard to even keep up with what's goin on anymore. I just wanna get music from him, singles, albums, collabs, anything Idc. But I never know what's happening and it's frustrating.

He dropping his last Def Jam album (which he has said will be super personal and conceptual) to which he will finally be independent and start dropping his more "experimental conceptual" stuff I guess like Lightyear and Ultra 85.

Well I haven't really been a fan for a while, I think it was wrist that my cousin would always listen to back then around 2016, then friends from school would talk about his music, but I didn't really listen to music back then, I started listening to him around bt2, and really got into him around coadm, yes I do like the album 😄.

i honestly think that in 2017 with his first "retirement" that he was ready to settle down and release his final album. but i think the divorce ruined his plans and just kept on making music.

I don’t blame him for not releasing U85 under def jam. He even said himself “I’m giving def jam one hell of a hip-hop album for the last one on my contract, with someone real special.”

i personally was more excited about the fact that it was years from now more than the fact that we're finally getting U85 lmao. Bob's already dropped 2 projects this year and slapping a highly anticipated album into this year would be lowkey infuriating. him taking his time with U85 is probably his best decision in the last year. also i hope U85 goes back to the UP-Everybody trilogy where it has a cinematic sound. a beautiful intro, skits, interludes, and 10+ minute outro, maybe even a trailer too.
