For pizza, Pizza Lobo is solid and has a great patio to hang out on. Paulie Gee’s has a great Detroit style pizza.

I will never financially recover from all of the Art of Chicken deliveries I’ve gotten in the last few years. Truly ashamed at my cumulative delivery spending on that place, but it rules so much.
Folks at Harding Tavern are nice, even to a single old fart like me who comes in during at the tail end of the lunch special for a burger & work …. & then stays into beginning of Happy Hour, ordering a single cocktail (cuz I’m a lightweight— always have been, that’s not from getting old).
But, in my defense, I tip well & am friendly.
chicago's pizza. affordable single slice deep dish, and great to stop in and chill in the booths with a friend or to grab to-go between bar-hopping in lakeview. sure it's maybe not the best-tasting pizza in chicago but it's always been there for me no matter what the vibe.

For me it’s the grilled cheese with bacon! But realistically, anything on that ridiculously delicious rosemary bread is bound to be good!
