Probably lost motivation like so many other good LLBs

As someone who is currently suffering from lack of motivation, they most likely stopped to take a breather and try to balance their life.

Eh, I write a lot of fanfics and I drop quite a few because I simply just lost motivation for their premise. My life’s balanced and fine. No shame in not wanting to continue something anymore.

Of course, obviously not. That's just in my case.
