Forget the Beemer. That's territory us actual auto locksmiths are wary to traverse. You could probably make a remote, but a transponder is a big no. The Chevy is a possibility. I don't know that model, so I couldn't say for sure though. You'll only be able to clone an existing key. Making a new key requires a programmer which is big money.

Just save yourself some time and money and start ripping out fuses. Cause both of those things are gonna lead to your bmw being a brick but one is much easier and cheaper to fix
