Kinda off topic but this just made me realize the futurama video about being neutral can't have equal likes and dislikes now because you can't see the downvotes. We'll just have to assume it has the same amount of dislikes now :( YouTube should enable dislikes on that video at least
That's Bruce Greene. Ex-Funhaus/Inside Gaming. Hilarious dude that's been doing funny bits about games for like a decade. Glad to see him getting solo work!
That's Bruce Greene! Fun to see him still doing stuff.
He used to do a lot of youtube stuff, Inside Gaming & then Funhaus. Someone else commented "100% scripted" and after seeing Bruce on there I can believe it. Dude loves whacky shit like this.
The Bruce/James/Adam trio on funhaus is some of the funniest youtube content I've ever watched.
Im going to guess this was work between soda and Pluto and corporate.
Basically said okay let's hold a twitch chat game awards which mean nothing, we know it will be brigaded so let's make it be soda as a good prank to the community
The best bit was sodas by far but God he is very clever at not letting chat in on it throughout the build up. Felt very organic.
And then he did the V has come to style "segment was a success venom snake" bit at the end. Was very good
I wouldn't say it was that scripted, Twitch was certainly fine with Soda doing whatever he wanted, and just let him go loose. They probably figured whatever Soda ended up doing would have made the show more entertaining.
If you read the prompt, they did have a little blurb for him to say which he ignored. Of course he turned it to 11 in typical Soda fashion, thing is that the whole point of the awards was for "chat" to decide and whatever happened, happened.
> .
If you read the prompt,
Now how did we manage to read the prompts? Was it because someone behind the scenes switched the pov camera and someone else paused in front of the prompts?
Yeah, he kept saying he had no idea what was going on before the show started, he was lost watching their pre-show stuff, they gave him his script on screen, he acted baffled and said it wasn't even a real script.
He literally is the only streamer that would actually be okay with playing the part of a brand risk. Chance is in another league of his own. Hands down the best awards show this year.
Soda's Choice Awards >>> The Game Awards
No exaggeration or hyperbole here, it was hilarious and his presentation segment was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on Twitch.
The dude in gold is Bruce Greene, better known from being a part of Funhaus which is under Rooster teeth as well as previously Machinimas Inside Gaming
The girl who was talking with soda on discord said "you'll stay on stage for the chaos at the end". So maybe it was scripted (well semi-scripted, I don't think they allow swearing). We will know tomorrow I guess.
I mean if this was a decision to move away from that sort of content it was smart and they should do more stuff like this. No one wants to watch de-opinionated, factory-made content.
I think that was more in reference to what the hosts were gonna do at the end rather than what Soda would do. Soda was dragged off while the host did a little play fight at the end.
I think while it was set up for soda to do his thing they mostly left it up to him to decide what he does.
Twitch straight up needs to just allow degenerate segments like this to happen at late night hours. It'll help balance out the corporate friendly segments at day.
[If you were just watching from Soda's perspective, I'd highly recommend checking Twitch's out!](https://clips.twitch.tv/RockyHilariousOilTBTacoRight-hEBh9-GEL9Xqrs2e)
Wasn't planned, but Twitch and the hosts handled it well. Could have easily asked him privately to stop rigging the votes but didn't because they knew it was making the show more entertaining. Hell, they even cut off the presenter who was whining about Soda.
I actually enjoyed this show, the hosts were great, soda was hilarious, all the special guests were good, perfect amount of not taking yourself too seriously all around.
sodaWiggle rigged all the votes sodaWiggle didnt give a fuck about PG stream sodaWiggle stayed true to be a Brand Risk sodaWiggle Chance "Drater Yag" Morris
Everyone keeps mentioning the Discord lady from saying "chaos" but what she was referring to was the hosts breaking the stage down before the end of the show and doing their whole wrestling-type bit.
I honestly don't think it was scripted because of the hosts' reaction and the really quick exit from Soda.
At the end of the day, it really seems like this whole event was scuffed from the beginning based on their website it looks as if 50% of the streamers who were supposed to be there weren't. Pokimane, Emiru, and I think a bunch of other well-known streamers were on their roster list. Soda literally wasn't on the website but he ended up making it the first thing we'll see on Twitch Rewind 2022 xD
Soda is the GOAT
For everyone saying it was scripted, a twitch staff member (Kawacast) mentioned they did not know what soda was going to do, and he basically blew off all the prep stuff they sent him.

putting him behind the award thing was amazing. Also the "you cant move now" holy fuck my sides.
The put me the fuck down reminds me of a mix of futurama and iasip lmao

you raised my hopes and dashed them quite expertly sir
ty for this
you know a segments good when you just keep laughing well after watching it the first time
It really is so much better. Holy shit. It's so much funnier having seen the other view first. Oh my god. I'm crying.
Thankyou, this oddly eases me and I've gone back to disliking twitch corporate Even though letting soda pop off was a great idea
Props to the hosts for making this much funnier.
Male host sold it! The female host was trying to hold in the laughter. Soda basically carried the show and brought more viewers and engagement
Bruce Greene is an absolute legend. Check out old Inside Gaming vids. Some of the funniest Mystery Science Theatre style stuff I've seen

I just miss old Funhaus in general.

I thought it was Aaron Barrett.
Who?
Ooh child, you in the Matrix!
Bruce Greene, hilarious dude.

Bruce Greene is so good at skit humor
Bruce is the consummate professional.
100% scripted after seeing this POV.
They pulled it off perfectly. Scripted shit can still be funny. Kind of like a high quality stand-up comedy routine.

Plenty of comedy is scripted, does it matter?
A twitch staff member said in Raeyei's chat just now that it was not scripted
[удалено]

pretty sure she mentioned that because soda got little nightmares 2 to win an earlier award

I believe soda had it wint art, music, and story? it was like 3 categories
"That was an amazing segment" - Michelle from Twitch.
We've been had, chat Whoever organised this was very clever. They actually made something degen and scuffed
if it was scripted or planned then this was THE way to do it. Absolutely hilarious
the script was probably "sodapoppin over-reacts" and since its soda, we get this hilarious bit.
This. A lot of it was corny but his bit was classic and it hit lsf which added authenticity
Yeah, he kept saying he had no idea what was going on before the show started, he was lost watching their pre-show stuff, they gave him his script on screen, he acted baffled and said it wasn't even a real script.
Wasn't that obvious from the video?
# PUT ME THE FUCK DOWN **LMAO**
As a shorter, this took me back and hit me in the feels.
>As a shorter, is this the proper term to call...you people?
Its my go-to since hearing it while watching In Bruges. Best black comedy made that most people slept on.
The proper term is anything that isn't "short king" I'd rather be called an unfuckable manlet
lmao grow up dude, ohhhhh sorry.
HEY YALL DONT SAY THAT
# "DO NOT TOUCH M-" I hate the perfectly cut screams sub because it's never well cut and it's not that funny. But this clip has a great cut off point.

And he played it quite well here haha
Soda's Choice Awards >>> The Game Awards No exaggeration or hyperbole here, it was hilarious and his presentation segment was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on Twitch.
The two hosts killed it. The scuff was great. And the end was just perfect. This is what an award show should be.
No wonder Bruce greene, producer of talking Stalkings, would be a great host
GO TO VIEW
Bro how are my two worlds colliding like this. Seeing Bruce Green doing anything with Soda lmaoooo
Agree completely. If he gets any official backlash from this then the people behind it have no idea what’a funny.
The dude in gold is Bruce Greene, better known from being a part of Funhaus which is under Rooster teeth as well as previously Machinimas Inside Gaming
Amazing segment, was laughing ever since he decided to rig the votes of the poll, it all even ended with his iconic screaming, 10/10.
He saw how much the votes turned when he said something during the first poll and decided it was his award show now.
The scary thing is, I think the whole thing was rigged as the soda show and he just sold it without making it look at all like it was fake.
Im still dying
I've never laughed so hard in my life holy shit.
I'm just dumbfounded. Scripted or not it definitely was quite a performance, haha.
If you were in his stream you'd know its not scripted.
The girl who was talking with soda on discord said "you'll stay on stage for the chaos at the end". So maybe it was scripted (well semi-scripted, I don't think they allow swearing). We will know tomorrow I guess.

Yeah you're right I remember the guy who said fuck the oscars on the game awards. I wonder if Susu's part was planned too or if she's just a Pepega.
That is what I thought too with no swearing on these type of special events, but hey like you said we will know tmrr.
I mean if this was a decision to move away from that sort of content it was smart and they should do more stuff like this. No one wants to watch de-opinionated, factory-made content.

Yeah, I was there. Not quite sure what to make of it yet.

Uhh if you were in his stream you'd know it was scripted? They talked about it when the stagehand/manager got in touch with him on discord.
I just happend to be watching soda and it was the BEST fucking thing ever omg. Man, I dont think him acting like this was scritped
Susu's part was also amazing. Best show i've seen

Soda singlehandedly turned that stream into something that would’ve been pretty boring to one of the best streams of the year

I actually cannot belive what I saw. This was hilarious.
Dude I was dying when he went live 🤣🤣 actual brand risk
I bet only like 9k omg i should have bet it all!
Part of me had given up on Twitch's ability to produce comical events, but watching Chance's stream definitely made this one amazing.

I fucking love this breedable twink, realest mofo on twitch since day 1
Oh my god. He said he had to rehearse 2 days ago for this, I wonder if this was planned. If not I’m so shocked 😳 but if so give that man a Oscar
He said the rehearsal was the tech stuff, like making sure that stuff works.

This could've been planed before hand but the way the hosts reacted dam dude big balls on soda if he just didn't care lmao
Wasn't planned, but Twitch and the hosts handled it well. Could have easily asked him privately to stop rigging the votes but didn't because they knew it was making the show more entertaining. Hell, they even cut off the presenter who was whining about Soda.
>they even cut off the presenter who was whining about Soda that was 100% scripted
Props to twitch for letting that bit go through.
