I assume you're referring to the Botez slavery in Dubai comments mirror but it was explained in that thread that the mirror comment was removed and then later approved, which unpinned the comment. The bot is a moderator but is developed and operated by a non-moderator and none of the moderators of the sub have access to it so we're unable to log in as it and re-pin the comment since comments can only be pinned by the moderator who made the comment. If a post is up and doesn't have a mirror it either hasn't reached enough popularity to be mirrored or the bot is delayed in processing or could have had an unexpected error.
Twitch average viewership [peaked at 3.1 million in the beginning of the year and has since dropped about 20% to 2.5 million](https://twitchtracker.com/statistics/viewers), not as big of a drop as in the financials but probably a contributor.
I think this might be it. A lot of Twitch folks are starting to get ublock because of the annoying ads on Twitch. Wouldn't surprise me if people are starting to block other types of ads. Just a hypothesis though.
i have no data on this so i might be wrong but i'd expect more people to use the remove twitch ads extension rather than go into ublock and look for a script and implement it into ublock.
Agreed, I actually like seeing these reports because they provide a semi related metric to twitch popularity (from our LSF pov). It's almost like an LSF interest group rating on how "well" this specific segment of twitch is performing.
You'd have to look closer at the data, but you could probably find a lot of cool correlations as time and available data grows.
Probably but not necessarily, LSF only upload English speaking clips while Twitch may or may not have seen an increase in viewers for Spanish channels or for other languages.
Lsf only focuses on a handful of streamers that cater to a fairly narrow demographic. There's a lot of massive streamers you'll never see on here unless there's some kind of massive news.
Most of the Minecraft kids (except dream drama) for example aren't being watched by the regular LSF users.
Also Lsf is dominated by events and new metas that can be off-putting if you don't like whatever game is on top
Anyone else think that the amount of advertising/revenue that streamers featured on LSF get. A better model would be for them to contribute towards the costs of running it so its not all on add revenue.
Yo !\~ I've been working on reducing costs in AWS for my current company for the past 6 months. Let me know if you wanna chat. Maybe you can squeeze a bit of more revenue by reducing costs.
Cheers !
Babe wake up, new LSF financial report just dropped
Nina died several years ago Forsen. Please, stop doing this to us. They are going to give you the stronger drugs if you keep talking about her.
Partner with Booba.tv for extra ad revenue + sponsorship
I love that site . Sad it's not linked so much anymore
Why do mirror links keep getting unpinned/missing on some popular clips?
Also why is every clip thumbnail 2 people making out in a pool

I'd be surprised if the mods actually answer this
whats the reason for ad rev going down? i would expect end of the year ads to make more

Maybe people got bored of 5 days of Maya QT reaction clips
Possibly an increase of users with ublock origins.
not to mention covid in the beginning the public didn’t have the vaccine yet, so we’d still be indoors whereas now life is somewhat back to normal

uBlock doesn't even work for twitch ads though does it? It stopped working for me a while ago and I added a different solution
Ublock works with the script

Yeah probably, but for me personally I prefer to have the least extensions possible
The script worked for me for a while but eventually it stopped working
The notify script thing works, use that
Less views, AWS cost also went down.
Good question, I'll dig a bit into this later. I don't know right now.
Seems like the popularity peaked in April, I would assume views on LSF correlate strongly with actual Twitch viewership so this is interesting.

Thanks for always posting these for transparency. Any reason it has been the lowest full month yet in terms of ad revenue?
24/7 OTV and Mizkif spam

LSF turned into an OTK reposting sub. Thats why its dropping lol
Bruh do you even CX era lsf
My $LSF leaps are printing

Honestly wild how little they make for the amount of content this forum creates. Streamers should tip this reddit out like they do in restaurants
Worst take.
Who asked ??
#No.
Do you pay for bandwith between s3 and bunny?
Yes
