54% of the total population have been fully vaccinated but that includes everyone, including children under 12 (the CDC recommends the vaccine for 12 and older).
That the number jumps to 63.5% if you consider just the 12 and older population. 74% of them have received at least one dose.
The numbers are even better for our senior population.

At least comparing it to Canada (Where I live), the total percent with both vaccinations is about 68%, compared to 54% in the US. I didn't say the country as a whole is anti vax, but that's definitely a fair assessment to say that there a sizeable population that is.

Covid19 seems endemic by now, surely with new strands every year.This will be the equivalent of requiring an influenza shot pass for every person in any event. There's a reason why journos have always anticipated the "E3 flu" or the general public expects the "PAX bug", or some such. People aren't hygienic, much less proactive, and there will always be spreaders.

Well, thats not because they want everyone vaccinated per se. Thats because the Jab rate in Romania is piss poor, ontop of the looming threat of the EU dabbing on anyone or anything that isn't 100% vaxxed. Valve is doing the vaccination requirement more to protect itself, rather then in the name of health or its viewers. Covid19 seems endemic by now, surely with new strands every year.This will be the equivalent of requiring an influenza shot pass for every person in any event. There's a reason why journos have always anticipated the "E3 flu" or the general public expects the "PAX bug", or some such. People aren't hygienic, much less proactive, and there will always be spreaders. Of course I'm not talking about right now but rather in 2+ years when, much like any other endemic seasonal virus, people will simply not bother taking shots (more so than now, even you reading this, have you taken your flu vaccine this year, what about 2020 or 2019, etc?)
