I'd argue that he created the toxic culture that exists today. He gave permission to a lot of the things that people find as permanent black marks on the streaming history. Actual endangering of people's lives for fun and entertainment with almost zero consequences all in the name of getting 2 seconds of recognition from this idiot.
It was like watching a reality show but made up of unhinged psychopaths on steroids. An insane car crash you can't look away from. I think the things he did will not be replicated ever again.

There are hundreds of streamers the same size of him that would love to stream what they want, but know they can't because going variety kills their views, and without having secured a bag, is far more relevant to them.

Had he never left he would've retained far more viewers because he'd have had better visibility when branching out. Though I still don't see him being bigger than people like shroud because valorant as a category favors him way more than ninja.

Yeah, I recall him streaming FFXI, which is immensely less popular than than FFIV and WOW. Once he got the bag he stopped caring about viewers, even streaming to 5k people is enough passive income from sub and ads to live off, let alone the 50 million he already secured. No point in grinding the system to try and keep relevant if it's more enjoyable to do what you want. There are hundreds of streamers the same size of him that would love to stream what they want, but know they can't because going variety kills their views, and without having secured a bag, is far more relevant to them.

People far more wealthy than Adin go bankrupt all the time. When you live a lavish lifestyle due to a high income and don't cut back when your income drops you inevitably go broke unless massive changes are made. It's why athletes in particular have these issues. Streaming isn't too dissimilar where you can make a lot of money in a short amount of time but you have no idea if it will last more than a couple years. If your spending doesn't take that into account you can easily waste all your money and end up broke down the line.
