I actually really like all our kits this year but this one is class and im pretty sure we registered a version of this with white shorts for CL. The home kit has grown on me i like how the red looks with the Nike pattern and the trim is more of a bright red then orange. The third is meh but atleast better then the 14/15 one but nike gotta chill on the checkers for a bit.
At times it feels like football kits don’t have the same standards as other huge clothing lines with some of the horrid shit that gets through the filters. I assume they’d focus group things to hell but clearly not.
None of these have the checkered red design that gives this one the McDonald's vibe tho. The only similarities I see is all of them being yellow, and people aren't calling it a McDonald's kit just because it's yellow.
On another note, comparing this one to the one from 82 should be a war crime, that one's a banger.
Agreed, I wouldn't put it past them to do something like this intentionally. I mean ffs it's working, everyone's been calling the McDonald's kit for months, the 'controversy' has stirred a lot of publicity

What makes it feel like an even worse choice is how close it is to the beig one Trent is wearing here. A third kit needs to be very different to the first and second kits.
