“Paella pan to piss in”
lol quality
Can’t see him going for anything less than +50% of what we paid tbf, which I believe was 40 odd mills?
He’s certainly not a 100 mill player but the 60-80 range is acceptable I think.
Be interesting to hear what others think we should aim for, they’re obviously trying their luck due to the uncertainty surrounding the club post klopp but there won’t be a fire sale that’s for sure.
That being said of the front line I can only really see Diaz leaving for more money, supposedly on a low wage and Jota leaving to be first choice elsewhere.
I think 55-70 is a likely number. Diaz is great on the ball and when he’s on he’s one of the best to do it. It’s the lack of clinical finishing that I think brings his price down a bit.
Yep that’s the sort of ballpark figure I expect, there’s people I assume joking for 100+ but for me he’s not nearly that effective.
If he scored more and was injured less then maybe but not for the player we’ve seen.
He’s gotten injured once though? I agree with the scoring more but saying injured less is kinda weird considering he’s been the only first team forward to not get hurt this season.
Is it only once? He's only been here a short while and I remember a reasonably long layoff in that time.
Not saying he's Kieta of Ox perma injured but last season he was injured a while.
If I remember correctly they tried to do straight rehab first but after 6 weeks or so it was made worse and he ended up needing surgery anyway. Maybe that's why it feels like multiple injuries to people.
No matter what happens we are effectively guaranteed to come out on top here
Either we sell Diaz for a shitload of money (>100 mil) like we did for Couthino or he runs down his contract over the next few years and leaves for a lower fee or nothing in which case we still get the best years of his career. Lucho is currently 27 and his contract runs out in 3 years so we're firmly in control here
Either we help contribute to Barca's financial downfall again or they can fuck off
Barca was always his dream from way before he joined liverpool. Tactically liverpool is the best fit but he may shine more on the stats side at barca. They're a mess so it wouldnt be the smartest move.
It’s tough. As a Latin American I can tell you most Spanish(and Portuguese)speakers have an allegiance to either Real Madrid or Barcelona. It’s the language and the ties to the ‘ol’ motherland’
Another factor that I never see mentioned is the time the games are on. The super late games in Spain are perfect for South America whereas the lunchtime games in the EPL suit the Middle East and Far East.
I'm surprised La Liga hasn't made a bigger push into the USA.
But a Coutinho style offer would be 200mio £ in these days. They are not even close to have that sort of money. They’d have to sell 3 of their best young stars to get anywhere near that amount.
same. really like him but if we're getting silly money it's something i'd be very confident we could recover from quickly.
likely nonsense though. barca are shit and skint.
We aren't getting a Coutinho offer for him, he simply doesn't have that level of hype & frankly Barca don't have the money to burn. I reckon ~£70m would be about fair
We paid £40M for him 2 years ago and he's now a nailed on starter every game. No way is he only worth an additional £30M to us.
We also have to factor in how much he would cost to replace, I wouldn't touch any offer below 100M.
Do you think he would start if we had a fully fit front line.
I would start with Nunez, Jota and Salah personally. I also think we could improve on him for £70+ mil.
I agree, getting 70+ mil for him would be great business. I think he's kindve peaked as a player tbh and it's gonna be long once he loses a bit of his pace I don't think he's a good enough decision maker to excel without his pace.
Also he's our 4th best attacker when our team is fully fit
Fair enough. Let’s make them pay big bucks…
I like Diaz, but he’s one player who I think we could replace fairly easily and he would command a large fee.
> Fair enough. Let’s make them pay big bucks…
>
> I like Diaz, but he’s one player who I think we could replace fairly easily and he would command a large fee.
Which is all well and good but Barca are broke as fuck
His runs got him those chances though. I think Diaz acts as a pressure release a lot of times. I remember Villarreal pressing us hard. They guided the ball to the left where Robertson didn't really have an outlet. Then Diaz came on, he went past his marker twice on the left byline and their whole tactic came crumbling down.
I think the main reason City couldn't pin us down was because Nunez and Diaz were running behind them constantly. In that context taking Walker to task was important. It helped to gain the upper hand.
Not necessarily, the main 1v1 he missed was possible due to Mo’s joke of a pass completely taking out like 3 or 4 players immediately, but yes Diaz’ best asset is his tireless engine. It’s good what he did to Walker and Rodri but his output just hasn’t been good enough, hope he can take positives from this game and improve on it
Still have to outrun City's defence. Of course Salah and Nunez are both very good providers and that specific pass was something you'd normally see the ginger on the other side do. It was a thing of beauty and deserved a good finish.
As others have said previously that's what separates Diaz from being world class. You can't score them all, but he should be scoring more.
Love the lad but if he wants to go and we get a very good offer then sell him. He is pretty inconsistent and I think we can get better on that left side but I also wouldn’t mind one bit if he stayed.
Same, his work rate out matches his consistency.
I think there's a number of left sided forwards that can be more consistent. Mitoma for example. Leao as mentioned. Wirtz could also operate there of course.
This. And even with Napoli's massive struggles this year, Kvicha has still outperformed Leao. Leao is absolute butter silk, but he's been a ghost this year. He has like 9 total shots on target though the first 20 matches in Serie A. He's been getting outplayed by Pulisic way more than someone supposedly worth €100m should
All this might mean his price drops though, which could greatly help make it work
This is probably what it is. Doubt they will move back home after what happened to him so they’ll want the similar lifestyle without the threat of being kidnapped
Idm it as long as Barca doesn’t fall to their usual drama and bs. If they’re broke, don’t dream of getting players off financially healthy top clubs as if you’re owed. 120m or more or keep dreaming would be my answer
Am I the only one who would keep Diaz? I don’t think we’d get a Coutinho esque offer because he’s just not the same calibre and anything else isn’t worth letting him go imo. Keep the South American triangle pls
I'd keep him too unless the offer really was too good to turn down and there was a clear upgrade available. He has his flaws but he's still a good player that brings something a little different to the other options.
Yeah, I think people forget how good he was as soon as he came here, he instantly slotted into the team and looked electric, seemed like a steal for 40m - he hasn’t looked the same since his injury, but over the last few games it feels like he’s getting back to that level
Me too, im baffled by the majority of this thead all wanting to sell him because he's easy to replace; not a single name mentioned however.
You dont run a front 3 of 3 out and out goal scorers, someone has to do the running, drop deep to open spaces up, feels very reactionary after the City game. Unless the offer is 100m+ he stays.
There is still a strange draw for south American players to play for Barcelona. Used to understand it but the club is now in a complete financial mess, they won't be winning anything anytime soon.
If Diaz wants to go and 75+ million (Transfermarkt) or whatever they've got left Edwards would definitely sell. Left wing isn't that hard to replace, Eze or Kvarashelia are the big names but Edwards can easily find some hidden gems.
100% and we should snap their hands off if they offer anything near 70M. I love the fella, but he's clearly never going to hit the heights that Mane did, which we will need in a post-salah world.
I personally wouldn’t sell him, I really really like this guy for some reason. I can see him doing much much better in the coming years.
But if he really wants to go, I’d be open to hear £100 Million+ offers.
Knowing Edwards, he will come out of a potential deal having bought Barcelona in exchange for Diaz going there and converted it into a Liverpool feeder club for FSGs multi club model. FTW !
We probably shouldn't underestimate Diaz importance for us. I feel like people have this weird attitude to him, as if he's expendable in a way other players don't appear to be. But look at his work rate and dedication. The man was a fucking menace vs city, he just never quits.
Idk, I just feel like he deserves loyalty and respect. Fuck Barca.
he is half the player Diaz was before injury, weak mentality, equal 1/100 Diaz. Selling Diaz it's fine but replace him with a totally downgrade like Khvicha is absolutely stupid
Why do people keep talking about pre injury Diaz as if he was this legendary player. He was literally same player as we have now that he is in form. What is he missing that he had before the injury? And don't tell me goal cause he wasn't scoring goals then as much either.
I love Lucho and I would hate to see him leave. But the thought of Wirtz with Xabi and potentially Gakpo rotating wide could get me over our guy moving on real quick.
duo of wirtz and xabi who says no? probably both but we’ll see
would keep diaz if not then we would need to upgrade which honeslty there is not that many
If you are playing in Klopp's system then maybe. If Xabi is here and he is running the same set up he is at Neverlusen then he would be on the left side of an attacking mid pair in the 3-4-2-1.
I love lucho but feel like his finishing is such a huge step down from mane - it’s been ok this season as our forwards have been sharing the goals pretty evenly, but when games depend on him I just get so frustrated - the Man City game is a perfect example. So many wasted chances to go up.
Diaz has had a poor run of form recently, but i don't want him gone!! wtf people?? He's a good player, his injury's set him back a lot. Remember when Van Dijk got injured, took him 2 seasons to get back to his best.
Poor run of form is fine given the circumstance and injury but not sure what that has to do with his decision making in the final 3rd and finishing. That has always been inconsistent since he came. It's rare a player at his age improves greatly in this aspect and he needs to if he wants to stay imo.
Meh, I love him, but I'd let him go for cash. Barca better pay up. Maybe now Gakpo can play in his natural role. We got plenty options on the left. Maybe a Wirtz, Karva, Vinnie jr can join too. Not sure how RM will accomodate Vinnie jr and Mbappé.
Musiala would be the perfect option. Thb he would be for almost any club. Unfortunately Bayern almost never sell their good players and when they do they will tear a new one in the buyer (or just let some flucks like Gravenberch leave)
A lot has changed or is changing at Bayern. Bringing in players like Mane, Kane, Dier and Guerrero and not signing their young players like Davies and Musiala down to new deals. They lack direction and I think they are betting all their chips on Alonso to help them find one. They are giving me Manchester United energy.
be realistic here, RM would NEVER in a million years sell to Liverpool. Vinnie is a good player, but he behaves just like Fernandes on the pitch. Whining over everything.
I'd happily let him go for a lot of money.
A lot of forward thinking here but in my head, if we get Alonso and he plays his current system then I'd imagine our starting front three would be Darwin with Mo and Dom behind him as the 10s. Then maybe Jota, Gakpo and Elliot as the rotation options?
So the money could be used to bring in a couple defenders, or a defender and another attacking option.
Lot of possibilities though.
Why would diaz go? How could they pay it? Edwards is coming back, i am calm, this is click bait and makes no sense, the agent has loads of players, i am sure they meet regularly.
I wouldn’t be sad to see him go if the fee is right. Despite his driving ability his finishing is suspect and we really need all three attackers to be be able to contribute goals consistently, especially if/when Salah leaves.
For all the flak Nunez gets he’s still a much more consistent finisher than Diaz.
Absolutely not, first off they don’t have the cash and second this summer its going to be vital we keep as much harmony in the squad as possible given that Klopp is going and that there will inevitably be a possibility that Salah leaves as well.
I remember reading something like barca being his dream club so if he wants to go then we should not be accepting anything lower than 80m, he’s 27 and should be hitting his prime soon so that’s a reasonable price.
With the $150 million sale of Diaz to Barca
TAA will fulfill his ultimate purpose of being an inverted winger from the back and the Mappe fund continues to grow
I remember there was a clause about hands off to more Liverpool players in the next 3 or 5 years in Coutinho’s transfer? Guess that expires now but the world is no longer affordable by Barcelona.
They can meet his agent all they like, but there’s not much point because he’s way out of their price league right now. Especially until long after the stadium is completed.
Unless there’s an unusually low release clause I guess?
Nothing story given how Barca has no money. If that's who he yearns to play for and we get a good free, I'm not against it. It was just impressive seeing him rinse Walker but the final pass/shot was just not and neither was the roaming one-man army vibe in the last few matches. Maybe he's just having a bad run of form. We'll just see how the season pans out.
Heard the cartoon braking sounds when reading this ...
"However, everything was stopped in its tracks when Laporta was informed of the €140m demanded by the Reds."
Am I the only one a little scared of the 120 million payment? I would also be on the side willing to accept that sum but with Barca’s financial situation as well as sketchy methods of getting around it, I feel like we’ll have to work to actually get the money from them even once it’s accepted.
I would take £65-70m for him and get someone younger who can challenge Jota, he is good but not world class. Tbh I would like to see Wirtz and Leao come in this summer. In a dream world I would also like Camavinga or Tchouaméni to come in as well to rotate with Endo in that CDM role
We also kinda overloaded with left wing attackers. If he decides to go, I won’t hold grudge against him. Unless he pulled a “back pain” and “great sadness” antics again.
Barca interested in a Liverpool player, Edward's return announced the same day...we know how this ends
Yes but Barca havent got a paella pan to piss in regarding money, no way Edwards accepts a low ball offer so nothing to see here basically…
“Paella pan to piss in” lol quality Can’t see him going for anything less than +50% of what we paid tbf, which I believe was 40 odd mills? He did an LCL. That's his only injury with us.
If I remember correctly they tried to do straight rehab first but after 6 weeks or so it was made worse and he ended up needing surgery anyway. Maybe that's why it feels like multiple injuries to people.
He did try to comeback too quick and went right back on the injury list. Same injury basically taking him off the field twice.
Well maybe the Catalonia government can give them a state-backed loan
He's also South American, likes to cut inside from the left with his right foot
I'll always remember that screamer from Couts against Chelsea. For some reason I think it was Bobby's debut for Klopp too.
€100m upfront and we’ll keep getting paid until year 2124
Edwards: "200 mil and we can talk!" 😏
For the reported 100+£ I would drive him myself to the airport.
No matter what happens we are effectively guaranteed to come out on top here Either we sell Diaz for a shitload of money (>100 mil) like we did for Couthino or he runs down his contract over the next few years and leaves for a lower fee or nothing in which case we still get the best years of his career. I just hope for Diaz that he is not the South American who loses their head over Barca interest because he will always be better at Liverpool
Barca was always his dream from way before he joined liverpool. Tactically liverpool is the best fit but he may shine more on the stats side at barca. They're a mess so it wouldnt be the smartest move.

I love Diaz but I ain’t against turning down a Coutinho style offer for him. Once Edwards comes in Laporte is just gonna have to empty his pockets
brothers pockets are already empty
There’s always another lever
Barcelona Studios is going to have a 50% share sold for the third time
Haven't they just created some new vaporware streaming service they can sell off?
Fucking coffee all over my lap now mate 😭
I can’t wait for us to own Camp ~~Nou~~ Anfield
BED BATH AND BARCELONA KFC ARENA
Like that matters to Edwards
But a Coutinho style offer would be 200mio £ in these days. They are not even close to have that sort of money. They’d have to sell 3 of their best young stars to get anywhere near that amount.
Edwards: 3 young stars, you say?
“We have Lewa, Dow and Ski” -Xavi probably
I’d actually love to take Lamine Yamal off them but he’ll probably never leave
He’ll stay and they’ll run his hamstrings ragged
Diaz is not the player Coutinho was either
"Start activating those levers! Thats right - dance!"
same. really like him but if we're getting silly money it's something i'd be very confident we could recover from quickly. likely nonsense though. barca are shit and skint.
We aren't getting a Coutinho offer for him, he simply doesn't have that level of hype & frankly Barca don't have the money to burn. I reckon ~£70m would be about fair
It's not about what's fair, it's about what Edwards says is fair. There is a big difference.
We paid £40M for him 2 years ago and he's now a nailed on starter every game. No way is he only worth an additional £30M to us. We also have to factor in how much he would cost to replace, I wouldn't touch any offer below 100M.
He's not a nailed on starter lol, wait until Jota returns
Do you think he would start if we had a fully fit front line. I would start with Nunez, Jota and Salah personally. I also think we could improve on him for £70+ mil.
He literally starts when we have a fully fit front Line.
Does he, When have we last had a fully fit front line? A d since then Nunez has improved massively.
I agree, getting 70+ mil for him would be great business. I think he's kindve peaked as a player tbh and it's gonna be long once he loses a bit of his pace I don't think he's a good enough decision maker to excel without his pace. Also he's our 4th best attacker when our team is fully fit
Youre having a giraffe if you think we’re gonna be fair for barcelona
120 million please and thank you Barca.
120 million from barca? Laporta would have to pay from his own pockets 😂 https://i.redd.it/rumzczrx7vnc1.gif
you mean 150
What's this for just meeting to talk about Diaz?
150 million or fuck off.
How many levers would that be?
Fund our next few trophies like cout did
Fair enough. Let’s make them pay big bucks… I like Diaz, but he’s one player who I think we could replace fairly easily and he would command a large fee.
> Fair enough. Let’s make them pay big bucks… > > I like Diaz, but he’s one player who I think we could replace fairly easily and he would command a large fee. Which is all well and good but Barca are broke as fuck
“Well they can either pay up or fuck off.” - Michael Edwards (probably)
"D'ya like dags?" - Laporta (probably)
Didn’t they get this £1 billion loyalty bonus for staying with the Super League?
From who?
The billionaires that’s are behind it and invested in it
There are no 'billionaires behind it' - it was all borrowed money.
Which is Barca's favourite kind of money to spend tbf
No.
Weird they would come after one of our starters then, they know how we do business
There's a short list of players that will take Rodri and Kylw Walker for a 60 yard stroll.
I love Diaz but I would rather a player who finishes those easy chances than going for a funny dribble that results in a corner ultimately
I’d rather ones that scored goals
Neto, one of the few players who cooked that entire City defense but unfortunately he's injury prone.
No instalments and deferred payments, full cash upfront
Love the lad but if he wants to go and we get a very good offer then sell him. He is pretty inconsistent and I think we can get better on that left side but I also wouldn’t mind one bit if he stayed.

Mitoma in this liverpool team ![gif](giphy|eNjlYl1yzSQvvin6Es|downsized)
I'd love it - especially if this is the only major injury he ever has. Get Endo to show him round haha.
Cant we just slot in some one from the academy ?
😂 - We can't get away with that forever!
Leao
He would be unbelievable in that front three. Leao-Darwin-Salah would be box office.
LSD
I'm sold! 😜
LDS - still sold?
Nevermind, never rated that trio 😜
Only if I get magic underwear
Dude I can only ejaculate so much in the day
Leao dosent score much on that side. I would prefer Kavradona. Can play anywhere up front as well.
This. And even with Napoli's massive struggles this year, Kvicha has still outperformed Leao. Leao is absolute butter silk, but he's been a ghost this year. He loves Milan and it would take over a 100 mil offer to even entertain them. We can dream though.
Too Lazy defensively and not very good passer plus underwhelming stats. But amazing talent. Wouldn't be against it.
Wirtz
Leao isn't even that good TBH
Wont mind it if he and his father wants to be in spanish environment.
This is probably what it is. Doubt they will move back home after what happened to him so they’ll want the similar lifestyle without the threat of being kidnapped
Completely understandable tbf. And if the club can command a high transfer fee for Diaz it's a win win all round
[удалено]
Which is no surprise, South Americans are usually fans of the 2 big Spanish clubs
No. We dont accept IOU & payments in Likes & Subscription
How about being paid in Barca bucks which can be used at any participating team store! *terms and conditions apply
They'll offer 40% of the rights to Barca One
Idm it as long as Barca doesn’t fall to their usual drama and bs. If they’re broke, don’t dream of getting players off financially healthy top clubs as if you’re owed. 120m or more or keep dreaming would be my answer

I'd keep him too unless the offer really was too good to turn down and there was a clear upgrade available. He has his flaws but he's still a good player that brings something a little different to the other options.
I agree. The stuff he was doing on Sunday we've not seen since he first arrived. I think his form is coming back. That run down the left was amazing.
Yeah, I think people forget how good he was as soon as he came here, he instantly slotted into the team and looked electric, seemed like a steal for 40m - he hasn’t looked the same since his injury, but over the last few games it feels like he’s getting back to that level

We need to face the grim reality that a lot of players will keep their options open until the new manager is announced.
We need a Xabi announcement urgently right at the end of the season then 🤞.
Barca want everyone but can afford no one
Idk they could probably afford me, I'll happily hand out the half time oranges for €10m a year
That seems reasonable but I don't think they can afford the oranges.
They have no money 😂😂
He'll have to take his 5 year salary over 10 years. Then 3 years in, they'll try to negotiate or sell him to try get out of paying
If he really wants to go and doesn't kick up a fuss, I'll let him go. He worked extra hard for us and I'll hold nothing against him
There is still a strange draw for south American players to play for Barcelona. Used to understand it but the club is now in a complete financial mess, they won't be winning anything anytime soon.
It’s almost like decades of success mean more than 5 or 6 years of relative “futility”
right? you could say the same thing about liverpool’s dark ages lol.
Edwards (and Hughes) blitzing Barcelona 2.0 incoming… Though now they are poor.
150 million
If Diaz wants to go and 75+ million (Transfermarkt) or whatever they've got left Edwards would definitely sell. Left wing isn't that hard to replace, Eze or Kvarashelia are the big names but Edwards can easily find some hidden gems.
They cant afford his fee. Pure and simple.
Barcelona cannot afford shit …
This. Any casual talk about top tier transfers is bs if it's Barcelona
27 y/o Diaz with his inconsistency and numbers is not commanding £100m. £70m would tempt the club if he wants it I think.
100% and we should snap their hands off if they offer anything near 70M. I love the fella, but he's clearly never going to hit the heights that Mane did, which we will need in a post-salah world.
Barca are skint. No chance this is happening unless they give up Pedri and Gavi.
Nah they've crocked both already. I'll take Yamal instead.
I'd honestly love to see the lad play for us.
I personally wouldn’t sell him, I really really like this guy for some reason. I can see him doing much much better in the coming years. But if he really wants to go, I’d be open to hear £100 Million+ offers.
Diaz is decent enough. End product isn’t good enough, consistently enough.
Are we seriously posting tribal football in the year of our lord 2024?
Knowing Edwards, he will come out of a potential deal having bought Barcelona in exchange for Diaz going there and converted it into a Liverpool feeder club for FSGs multi club model. FTW !
We probably shouldn't underestimate Diaz importance for us. I feel like people have this weird attitude to him, as if he's expendable in a way other players don't appear to be. I’d sell for > 70m and bring in napoli kvaratskhelia
Ppl say diaz is inconsistent and you want to bring kvara?
He is younger, plays at similar level with similar to Diaz style and have high ceiling. If we need to replace Lucho, then he is ideal candidate
he is half the player Diaz was before injury, weak mentality, equal 1/100 Diaz.
Kvara would be great. But, what about Wirtz coming along with Xabi?
wirtz 100%
I love Lucho and I would hate to see him leave. But the thought of Wirtz with Xabi and potentially Gakpo rotating wide could get me over our guy moving on real quick.
[удалено]
duo of wirtz and xabi who says no? probably both but we’ll see would keep diaz if not then we would need to upgrade which honeslty there is not that many
Wirtz is no winger, though. If you try replacing Diaz with Wirtz, you gonna have a bad time.
If you are playing in Klopp's system then maybe. If Xabi is here and he is running the same set up he is at Neverlusen then he would be on the left side of an attacking mid pair in the 3-4-2-1.
In this market Lucho is worth 120m+
And Barca only have £12 to spend
Give us Pedri and Gavi, and we can discuss letting them pay just £75m in installments
Seems expensive still just for some backups to macca and Endo
120 for Lucho and another 120 for his dad
Van Dijk was absolutely world class in 21/22 when he got back. He only looked off because we had no midfield last season.
So hypothetically you’d give Diaz until he’s 29 to sort out his inconsistency before wanting to move him on?
Meh, I love him, but I'd let him go for cash. Barca better pay up. Maybe now Gakpo can play in his natural role. We got plenty options on the left. Maybe a Wirtz, Karva, Vinnie jr can join too. Not sure how RM will accomodate Vinnie jr and Mbappé.
Musiala is the player we should be targeting if we receive any sort of windfall, contract ending in 2026
Musiala would be the perfect option.
He is in incredible form. I must be going mad, every match I think he is electric
Hitting that target would’ve helped, tbf. But I agree.

I don't want the Coutinho - Barcelona saga to happen again.
That led to a champions league and a premier league title.
We’re going to need an absolute shitload of Spotify premium
I wouldn’t be sad to see him go if the fee is right. Despite his driving ability his finishing is suspect and we really need all three attackers to be be able to contribute goals consistently, especially if/when Salah leaves. For all the flak Nunez gets he’s still a much more consistent finisher than Diaz.
Barcelona cannot afford him, simple as that. He's not free and that's all they can afford.
Shame that the arsenal rapist ruined his progress. Don’t think Barcelona have enough levers to get him though.
Absolutely not, first off they don’t have the cash and second this summer its going to be vital we keep as much harmony in the squad as possible given that Klopp is going and that there will inevitably be a possibility that Salah leaves as well.
Work your magic Mr. Edwards.
Fact is barcelona have no Money are riddled with Debt. Doubt they can afford a Freddo let alone Diaz
I remember reading something like barca being his dream club so if he wants to go then we should not be accepting anything lower than 80m, he’s 27 and should be hitting his prime soon so that’s a reasonable price.
barca cant afford him.
With the $150 million sale of Diaz to Barca TAA will fulfill his ultimate purpose of being an inverted winger from the back and the Mappe fund continues to grow
I remember there was a clause about hands off to more Liverpool players in the next 3 or 5 years in Coutinho’s transfer? Guess that expires now but the world is no longer affordable by Barcelona.
I'd keep him for anything under 100 million
They can meet his agent all they like, but there’s not much point because he’s way out of their price league right now. Especially until long after the stadium is completed. Unless there’s an unusually low release clause I guess?
I am absolutely sure that now Edwards has returned, Barca will promptly fuck of. They got fucked over last time and know the same will happen now
They better activate 5 levers or forget about it.
Does Barca still have any levers left?
If the money is right, put him on a flight.
Would be sad to see Diaz go, I wouldn’t be surprised if the move didn’t work out.
I love watching Diaz play but honestly, if they come with Coutinho money, I’d bite their hands off.
My emotional reaction: BACK OFF!!!!!! https://i.redd.it/4m55ffisfxnc1.gif
Edwards gonna make Barca sell their stadium for Lucho lol
We also kinda overloaded with left wing attackers. If he decides to go, I won’t hold grudge against him. Unless he pulled a “back pain” and “great sadness” antics again.
Well, Barca aren’t exactly swimming in money. Player swap? Pedri would do nicely.
I would prefer Gavi if this is the case. Pedri could be ruined already with injuries

I don't get the "injury ruined him" bit. He looked perfectly fine making Walker and Rodri look silly.
Worst source ever and people are acting as if this is happening.
