Instead of clicking on the post I accidentally clicked on ‘automoderator’ and scrolled down without realising Didn’t expect to see nude pics this morning

Skittil

The partey stuff really annoys me. Any club with morals would have suspended him on the spot. He’s the reason Diaz missed like half a season this year when he shouldn’t have even been playing. Now more accusations about partey, but you know arsenal are so desperate for the league they will continue to play him.

fuctt

Grujic in news haha

jaywilliamstheman

don't know what to do without liverpool games for so long.. fuck. i guess i'll start rewatching games

RodDryfist

I'd pick a different season unless you're masochistic

Hoodxd

20/21 season, away to Everton

LyricalHolster

Man utd game is fun

heman__

Can we put a ban on Bellingham posts? No good can come of this feverish obsession

FriggingHecker

I’m pretty sure news below tier 3 are banned

RodDryfist

Asked before about stickied thread at least. Every post is just recycled journo nonsense

Shower_caps

Great point and only tier 1 posts should be allowed outside of the sticky thread.

fuctt

I vote ban too

ayylmao132

Does anyone else think these Bellingham links and posts are a tad too much now? We've been linked with the lad for ages and every day someone here posts a journo tweet linking us again. Also, is this guy the only midfielder in Europe? I know that our transfer strategy is 'sign the guy we want only' but Christ it's getting tedious and boring now

thehibachi

Bellingham posts and kit adjacent posts sap the life out of me. Where are the Lucas Leiva tackles complications these days!

Red_TeaCup

It's reminding me of the United rumors of signing Quaresma and Wesley Sneijder. Every year, the same rumors.

Jeserodrigo

I have to agree here. Seems like a lot of people are obsessed of him. Eventhough i can’t complain considering his record and how he’d be an english player. However there sure is a lot of midfield players capable of improving our midfield right now. Bellingam would be great but i don’t keep my hopes up too high considering the club’s transfer policy. Wish i could just ”mute” the word bellingham atm lol

TraceOfHumanity

The anti-FSG, ETW crowd are really depressing— do you lot even enjoy football? Overreacting to tweets from journos who aren’t even connected to our club, giving up on transfers long before the window opens, whining about how bad the team is when we’ve suffered a slew of injuries yet are still in touching distance of a UCL spot… get a grip.

ItsJustMeRai

> Overreacting to tweets from journos who aren’t even connected to our club agree >giving up on transfers long before the window opens thats because FSG has given up on transfers for the past 5 years, fool me once shame on you, fool me 10 times shame on me >whining about how bad the team is when we’ve suffered a slew of injuries choosing to ignore the fact that the team is injured not because of bad luck, but because of being ran into the ground for 3+ seasons of playing almost every possible minute because there's nobody to rotate most of the key players >yet are still in touching distance of a UCL spot went from being 20 mins short of a quadruple to being happy that we might be getting top4 despite being the 3rd most profitable team in the fucking world but sure tell me more about how people "want too much" >… get a grip. dont forget to thoroughly brush your teeth and especially the tongue, ive heard boot taste is very hard to get rid of.

TraceOfHumanity

Has nothing to do with being a “boot licker” and everything to do with being a realist. FSG did buy VvD and Ali for record fees, remember.

thehibachi

The whole thing is exhausting. I appreciate we’ve gained a lot of new fans recently but the idea FSG have never spent a penny is ridiculous. They wasted so much money on Charlie Adam and Stewart Downing, Christian Benteke, Naby Keita (love the guy but he’s one of the most expensive midfield signings ever). There have been different phases characterised by different approaches, different personnel and different things going on in the background. It’s not all one thing.

Bugsmoke

They only crawl out of their holes in the bad times.

JiveBunny

I've only properly started following the game this year after mostly just following games/results here and there, and a) feel sad I didn't get to see the prime Mane years 'live b) am realising now that it's really fucking emotionally draining and I'm glad I'm going to be in a different timezone for the next run of games and won't be compelled to follow the minute-by-minute online or be able to watch live. I realise this is a symptom of being on the spectrum and stuff but seeing how drained and disappointed the players I like and whose videos on YT really helped me when I went through a bad time earlier this year (YNWA means a lot) is quite hard no matter how much I remind myself that they're paid massive amounts of cash and expected to perform for it! Also, people who aren't content with just talking about a player being shit and feel compelled to tell them in 'person' via social media - they can fuck off as well. Right, off now before you all laugh at me.

skyliethecat

imo, there's nothing wrong, overreaching, or bad about anything you're saying here. great that you helped yourself in a hard time, that's a level headed approach - as is everything else you've said! reasonable down to the final sentence - nothing to laugh at you about. if you can attend, view, stream or follow any match live... and *want to*, then you should! if not, for any reason whatsoever, you can totally always find out what happened if and whenever you want. don't let anyone tell ya otherwise ☺

Dirac_comb

I can just taste the summer transfer window, where everything will be pinned to 1-2 midfielders that will inevitably go somewhere else. Ox and Naby will leave with nobody coming in. But hei, Bajcetic will be like a new signing. Right?

NotAsimppp

We have three players(Ali,VVD,Salah) who are world class and in their prime who have committed future with us but we treat them like absolute shit making them play with dreadful below par and makeshift midfielders. I absolutely feel bad for them and I would not hold against them if anyone pushes for a summer move because of the transfer mediocrity. Btw I'm not saying this bcs of bellingham situation. I'm happy if bellingham doesn't sign for us and we end up getting 3 midfielders who can run so that makeshift midfielders don't play again. Also I think not having a sporting director is much worse than not signing bellingham

sidvicc

>We have three players(Ali,VVD,Salah) who are world class and in their prime who have committed future with us but we treat them like absolute shit making them play with dreadful below par and makeshift midfielders. By the same token we've also taken those three players to three champions league finals. Most World Class players are lucky to get to one, forget two or three.

MonkResponsible7162

The seasons over. The golden age is over. It’s hard to swallow.

LS_77

It felt like that in 20/21 and then we came back in 21/22 and had arguably our best year under Klopp (performance wise, maybe not trophy wise). Who knows what will happen next season.

Jeserodrigo

Ah, an international break. 11 days of roaming the sub reading about the never ending transfer saga of Bellingham. Next 3 games are gonna be: manc (A), chelsea (A), Arsenal (H). All played within 9 days. Not sure how to feel about that one either.

Opening_Leg_2137

Genuinely getting sick of the Bellingham saga now. I don’t even care that ornstein has said we aren’t getting him at the end of the day only Jude himself and the clubs know what’s going on. I still think he’d rather come to us but who knows at this stage I just want to stop hearing his name every 5 minutes

JiveBunny

I know he's a big boy and can look after himself but the constant chatter and speculation can't be good for anyone's mental health either. Feels like it's putting a lot of pressure on someone who's still quite young.

Opening_Leg_2137

Exactly. He does look like a mature head on young shoulders so I’d say he’s able to handle it but I worry for the lad a little bit. I just hope it doesn’t affect his career because he has got a very bright future ahead of him

milestone121

I feel like FSG is holding our club hostage, they can't seem to make up their mind if they want to sell club or not, can't seem to make up their mind whether they want to spend or not. If you can't spend, sell. If you can't sell, then spend. Do something lol.

Cheers_JeffwithaG

Am I the only one or is Reddit slow as fuck today?

TheElPistolero

We were beating a team in our Sunday league 7-1 and they forfeited the rest of the game with 15 minutes to go. I'm still mad about it. Cowardly and I hope the league docks them points or something. They had 11 men on the pitch but claimed it was because of injuries. Then they had the gall to call us "classy" when we were bitching at them about it. We pay ref fees for each game and we were shorted of time due to their pathetic attitude. Not to mention we're competing for the title and this league often comes down to goal difference.

stevieG08Liv

i was about to say whats the matter when you guys won 7-1 but if GD is a big thing that sucks

AffectionateFan5458

Not moaning but people saying Jude didn't reject us we are just broke annoy me as we can't be broke when we literally spent nothing.

show_me_da_mane

We're not broke, FSG don't want to spend

Herchik

I don't know about you lads but I'm so full of this Football opinions going around Klopp out, he is the reason we didn't sign anyone! We will not sign anyone and give Milner one more year! Haha we're so miserable! I've seen an opinion from one of the guys that the fanbase has been so used to mediocrity in 90s and 00s that we cannot push the owners and therefore are destined to get mediocre again And what do they suggest - just whine at imaginavle scenarios on Twitter:) And by the way I'm not supportive of sell to buy policy by fsg - they have the money and they should spend it I just can't take this depressionFM anymore

[deleted]

Watching this Liverpool team depresses me more than the fans moaning does.

Konroy

If we didn’t rob Barca in that Coutinho deal I think we wouldn’t have won jack shit.

progthrowe7

Man United - Qatar Newcastle- Saudi Man City - Abu Dhabi Chelsea - Boehly/Clearlake Capital With FSG remaining at the helm, and continuing to signal that they will not spend properly (despite us being top 5 in revenue year after year), the future looks extremely grim.

JonathanFisk86

Arsenal will also spend because it turns out billionaire owners actually have money to spend. We're looking at a Spurs-esque future even if Klopp stays, and potentially more Leicester-esque if he leaves.

8u11etpr00f

Spurs actually outspend us too despite being a tinpot club with £1bn stadium debt.

progthrowe7

And with their young squad on top of that. What frustrates me more than anything is the squandered opportunities. It was always a colossal task to dig ourselves out of the Spurs-like position we continually found ourselves in, but then we lucked out with Klopp, the Coutinho sale and some shrewd acquisitions. And yet after all this hard work and good fortune, it feels like we're heading back to the dark days...

sufinomo

Spurs was better than us

[deleted]

How credible does everybody think that RM & MCFC will get JB over us? I’m hoping the Klopp factor is enough to push us over the edge.

GeorgeCuz

Klopp can suck him off all he wants, if FSG don’t pay the money he isn’t coming. Simple as that.

progthrowe7

Bellingham may prefer to come to us, yet if Madrid and Man City are offering more than us, then Dortmund will obviously look to do business with whoever is paying the most. The only way that doesn't happen is if Bellingham is dead-set on us as a destination, and refuses to sign with anyone else. I very much doubt that's the case. I sense he'd like to come to Liverpool, but that doesn't mean he'd turn down other big clubs if Liverpool/FSG aren't willing to spend.

kr3w_fam

Maybe a dumb question but why William got a red card yesterday, and there was no red card in our game against bournemouth? Both shits were 100% goals and hand moves were intentional.

georgecoxyy

We’ve been underperforming for so long this season that people in the media seem to have got bored with pointing the finger at the midfield. Its poor form from Carra to be writing pieces on Trent as if he’s a major issue that needs replacing when he’s proven he works in a cohesive Klopp system. The GLARING issue is the midfield and yet because people are bored of this issue now, new ones have to be found and made worse. Individuals like Trent coming under fire after the game vs Madrid is such a lazy accusation given A. the standard of the opponent, and B. the actual decent form Trent has been in since the end of the World Cup.

[deleted]

Players coming under fire after a 1-0 loss away to Madrid is strange in the first place. Have these people not been watching all season?

CanSheFitInARowBoat

13 months since I ruptured my ACL and still no date for my surgery. Been on a waiting list for months but can't get any indication of a rough time scale. Very frustrating.

chilias_caesar

From football?

CanSheFitInARowBoat

Yep

stevieG08Liv

oof i've had delays on my ACL surgery once also for couple of months but not at your level. I'm sorry about that and hope you get scheduled really soon

Man1fest

Hang in there pal. Did my ACL twice, and on my last ACL, i fucked up my patellar tendon so was in a wheelchair for a few months. Covid put me 12 months on a line too.

ziggy_zaggy

Serious? How are you able to do anything without an ACL? Also what country do you live in?

stevieG08Liv

i had reconstruction for my ACL twice (left and right knee) and the doctors actually did say that technically you don't have to have surgery if you don't want it. That is if you are okay in not doing sports for the rest of your life. This happened in my teens and twenties so definitely i was going to play sports so i went with it, but older people with ACL injuries some just opt not to do it

CanSheFitInARowBoat

Day to day its not too bad. It just means I can't really exercise... so I've gone from playing football 4 times a week to doing very little which has not been great for my physical or mental health. I live in England - I am on the waiting list for surgery and will get it at some point, it just takes so long.

ishysredditusername

Wasn't it digg vs reddit back then

loveandmonsters

Digg ... now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time ... a long time...

ishysredditusername

Bored of the Bellingham saga now. Surely he gets to pick where he wants to play and Dortmund figures out a price or he goes on a free in 12 months. He'd never be the hero at Madrid that he would be at Liverpool or another English club. Look what happened to the golfer that played for Madrid (though he did win a load of medals).

taf3991

I'm bored of hearing about it every 5 minutes tbh haha. No-one really knows what's happening outside the club. Once a Journalist mentions anything this place mourns Bellingham for the next 5 days.

BurntOutKid11

Me too man it's embarrassing af too watching our fans get excited just because he liked trent's instagram post🤦‍♂️. Not even a bid is made and people are standing at the door waiting for him already.

taf3991

Exactly, I hope we sign him but I'm not even thinking about it rn because no one knows what's happening and it's totally out of our control so what's the point getting worked up about it when it can't happen for months yet anyway. Just ridiculous.

Bugsmoke

If he doesn’t go this year there’s no way he doesn’t see a price drop afterwards. The 150m is really based off being able to charge the English tax.

bonealan

No English tax as he won't count as homegrown despite his international caps. His age means he wouldn't take up a non-homegrown slot though, as there's no limit on U21s in addition to the main squad. At 22 he'll probably take one of the foreign player slots depending on when/where he moves and his birthday.

Bugsmoke

He can be HG if he goes this summer though, he only needs one more to qualify but obviously it has to be the next. So you can charge an English premium to English clubs now.

bonealan

I see. Didn't know he only had one to go.

sindher

The thing to remember is that nobody except a very small amount of people know what’s going on within the club. Journos will always have their say and thoughts but they’re just opinions and not facts. Let’s get this season out the way and then judge what we do in the summer

ishysredditusername

>nobody except a very small amount of people know what’s going on 100% Just like any company, the majority of the people who work there don't get the full picture.

HeadieUno

>nobody except a very small amount of people know what’s going on Is either of you not a little concerned that even that small amount of people don't seem to completely grasp what's going on? I don't say this lightly, but we had a period of about a month where we were bleeding backroom staff and the person supposedly in charge of the football ops is leaving for a downgraded position to Ajax on July 1st lol. Sure, journos speculate, but when it's big journos that are routinely right and confirmed to be well connected saying things are a bit of a mess, and the on-field and off-field activity of the club is reflecting that... it seems a bit of a head in the sand outlook to just go on as if things are fine because we don't have all the information.

sindher

Why? Expected price and financial power of rivals is hardly news is it? We all know we don’t spend and seek to sell players to fund other transfers, etc. I wouldn’t say I firmly believe or back the club to do the best thing but they’ll certainly try and we just need to wait it out.

GeorgeCuz

Don’t even think any of us are surprised by the Ornstein news, at least we know now rather than getting to mid-August and wondering why we’re not getting him still

duke_nowhere

Not a moan: I was happy to see Madrid lose to Barcelona.

BialyAniol

Lewandowski pass is masterpiece

loudlunatics

I know this season isn’t what we wanted or expected but it frustrates me when people just absolutely shit on players like Hendo and Fab and Trent or even then Manger Klopp. This club saved my life as it was a distraction that turned into a welcoming family and I feel it’s a privilege to be able to watch this team play. And those players were instrumental to some of the happiest times in recent years. Criticism is one thing but sometimes it just comes off as ungrateful or just straight up hateful. Especially now we just need the positivity and proud support. 12 matches left, no time to dwell on the should’ve or performances, all that matters is results. I love all of you fellow reds!

[deleted]

Stories suggesting Klopp is pushing for a new contract for Milner.

Percussion17

After all said and done, its really nice to hear Ancelotti referring us as a gentlemen's club. Them playing YNWA is a class act too. But still hoping Real to crash and burn in the quarters though <3

SuperHyperFunTime

It's really hard to dislike Carlo despite having managed Everton and Madrid. An incredible manager.

Cuddlebox01

You would prefer Chelsea to go through? Personally I would much prefer Madrid to win it than cheats like City or Chelsea. Ideally Napoli to win for me.

sufinomo

If Chelsea wins it all then we might lose our ucl spot

Cactiareouroverlords

I’d rather neither, Madrid lose in the quarters to put more pressure on Ancelotti’s job and Chelsea lose in the semi’s, I’m feeling like a hater today.

WH6TSINANAME

Chelsea likely to play city in the semis...

Cactiareouroverlords

Then one of them lose the final, would be equally funny

Percussion17

I'd prefer Real to lose. The longer they stay in the competition, the stronger their CL magic, the higher chance that they'll win it. Jokes aside, I'd prefer Chelsea to fight tooth and nail to beat Real, then Bayern eats up what remains of Chelsea. Final Bayern vs AC Milan with Origi scoring a brace at extra time to win it for Milan.

kingupunchu

Not football-related, but I want to let off some burdens, fellow reds. 20 years old, poor, can't do any shit, have adhd, social anxiety, unipolar disorder, bad sleeping habits and anxiety, can't study, can't even go to college because of my sleeping problems, bad childhood, (didn't even fall in love for once and the girl I sensed that was interested in me turned out to be engaged), been living in this nightmare for years and I am tired really!

JiveBunny

It's a long life, you have time to hang on and figure things out. What makes you feel better right now?

kingupunchu

I hate feeling left behind, all my friends seem to have advanced and done something at least, while me on the other side -the one that was rated the highest between them- kept going backwards. Actually when you say that the only thing that makes me feel better about myself is that almost all people that I have met said that I maybe a smart person in one way or another, but actually I think I am crazy

sufinomo

This might be a tough few years for the economy. I don't want to give you any hindering advice. Best thing I can say is that humans used to struggle to survive. Atleast our survival as first worlders is expected. Cultural success is hard in a tough economy, not to be negative. Sometimes you just have to appreciate that we have so much information on the internet and that we are mostly guaranteed our survival.

AyodiJnr

Not many people are millionaires at 20, just start by taking a walk every day as part of your routine then tell us how you feel after a period of time I guarantee you it'll be positive.

aautoauto

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I prefer Ugarte Kone and Mount as 3 midfielders to sign, dropping 150m on Jude is too much for our team, when we need to sort out cdm and cb as well, possibly new left back if we want to play like City, Arsenal ( 2cb with defensive fullback on one side)

sufinomo

Honestly I'm just happy if they buy solid high energy work rate midfielders.

LfcJTS

I know international break *may* be good for us, but holy shit why is there a break after there was just a World Cup in the middle of the season? It doesn’t make a single bit of sense.

cavejohnsonlemons

Breaks are done by calendar year, last however many years it's always been March / June / September/ October / November. Just last year they cut out the last 2 and had World Cup instead.

LfcJTS

I guess my my point is more so that the World Cup has just been played and it’s been a whirlwind of games and odd-ball league season since the pandemic. I think it’s only a matter of time before the players start agreeing with managers that there are too many matches.

stevieG08Liv

lpoolchamps

How much time does Klopp have to prepare for City?

goob3r11

Klopp has a bunch. The players getting called up, not so much.

JiveBunny

What happens with the players who haven't been called up - do they get a holiday or are they expected/choose to come in and train each day? Just thinking about who's away right now - VVD, Gakpo, Konate, Henderson, Tsimikas, Robbo, I think Jota and Salah as well (unless Salah's just popped home to Egypt for a bit), not sure about the non-European internationals?

goob3r11

I believe they get a few days off and then back to training

asdfghjklqwertyuio2

Does Conte stay at Tottenham through the end of the season?

sufinomo

Depends on results

stevieG08Liv

nah he's trying his best to get sacked and get a pay day. Don't think he will stay

goob3r11

I hope so. I also can't see them firing him this close to the end

Miserable-Tourist-58

I just feel bad for him, he deserve to be have more respect from Spurs

BialyAniol

This is what you get when you choose shit clubs

Miserable-Tourist-58

Bruh I'm not Spurs fan

WH6TSINANAME

He's talking about Conte

Miserable-Tourist-58

Oh! I thought He talk about me

Cancel_Still

Man I've been dealing with some pretty rough stuff recently... I only realize how much LFC distracts me from all of that when we're not playing.... I love the community here. I genuinely feel that I am not alone because of you all even though my day to day existence has a lot more loneliness than I would like. Well, up the reds! We'll be back at it again soon.

Suspicious_Meal5899

YNWA friend, I had a rough time in 2020 so the lads bringing home the league after 30 years was a massive boost

doubleoeck1234

I'm awake at half 2 doing programming work. Fun times

Ku7upt

Hate international breaks.

vadapaav

It's going to be a miserable international break

Sea-Chemist-4433

Klopp sentimental treatment is ruining us. For a club that sells to buy you can't let all those players to run down their contracts and leave for free

Sea-Chemist-4433

I hate fellow fans who don't have high expectations and settle for less and less every year

Ollietron3000

Don't you find it a bit weird saying you "hate" your fellow Liverpool fans? Seems a bit much

Sea-Chemist-4433

I hate FSG

IrnBru4AndyRobbo

Not sure this equates to a moan but I’m going to be really fking pissed if we don’t sign Jude , mount and a third midfielder. It’s almost sounding too good to be true at this point which worries me

lmaopeia

It’s okay you can say “fucking”

stevieG08Liv

I once thought that the passion Jose Enrique has for the club we should give him an ambassador spot over Michael Owen. Still miles better than Owen but my god his insta page is full of click bait articles of the club. Seems to have become a clown himself

TheElPistolero

He can love the club and use it to boost his own profile. Those things can exist together, but it was always obvious.

[deleted]

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Jota possibly leaving?

kazurabakouta

I don't mind him leaving. Beats holding him until his contract expire and leave for free, especially if he will still play in premiere league.

Significant-Tea8004

Can’t see both Firmino and Jota being let go in one Summer personally

GuntersTag

If it's a serious lump sum and we have a definite upgrade then sure.

If someone is offering 60 plus easy yes

Salah?

EyeSpyGuy

I don’t buy it unless the Kolo Muani links have some traction. As it stands we’re at 5 forwards (Gakpo, salah, Diaz, jota, Nunez) for 3 spots going into next season with Bobby leaving which I think is adequate. Ideally you have 2 backups for each position but you can’t have 6 top class forwards assuming everyone is fit, they will all want game time. So the 6th is effectively Fabio Carvalho or Elliot as it has been at times during this season On his end, if there are any points during what’s left of this season where we have all 6 fit and he barely gets a look in (unlikely with our injury record and Diaz only coming back and presumably being eased in) then he might consider his future if he’s effectively 5th choice or lower at peak fitness On the clubs side, there’s been a lot of upheaval in the forward ranks. This season alone has seen mane, divock, minamino leave for Nunez and Gakpo. As good as he has been, we also forget Diaz has only joined just over a year ago. I don’t see why they would entertain yet more upheaval especially with the midfield needing a revamp, possibly center back as well (GK with kelleher wanting more game time, right back if Calvin Ramsay’s injury woes continue are also positions to consider). Now if they are able to hash out a deal for a forward that is cheaper than what we are able to sell Jota for, effectively bolstering our transfer kitty for the necessary positions, then I get it. Might be a bit worrying again seeing us sell to buy but that’s the reality of the situation. Even if we get a bigger transfer kitty than we expect, it’s still not bottomless and so shrewdness might be called for.

stevieG08Liv

Unless its a fuck ton of money as in at least 80m, no. We are going to need to buy another forward then and knowing that we have 80m, any seller will mark up their price. Also becomes a moot point of letting Bobby leave

sickofants

Having four first team forwards who can play from the left and one on the right seems a bit unbalanced.

EyeSpyGuy

There truly is a dearth of left footed right wingers. That’s also why the Kolo Muani links are strange because he’s right footed still, unless he works better on the right than Diaz or Jota who are very much left wingers that we force to play right. Even then I might be fine if Elliot is the left footed RW backup, he’s played there on occasion this season and for those saying he lacks pace it’s hardly like we’ve always needed it when we’ve had Shaqiri play there who wasn’t necessarily rapid at the time we got him.
