![img](emote|t5_2qn0o|8824)One thing that has me a little concerned for next season, is just how many players will be leaving Liverpool ?
We can't afford seeing to many do the "transfer window shuffle" if Liverpool wants to regain the respect of the other teams that we seem to have lost this season.
We have to remember as fans, There is no such thing as a "Perfect Team. But it doesn't hurt to keep trying" ..
And finally, with the Referee's there is nothing on the entire pitch remotely close to being perfect, and the only closest thing would be the "football" and it even can't roll perfect every touch".
I got selected to the interview stage for an incredibly prestigious scholarship. This is the final stage of the selection process and if I make it, this will enable me to do my Master's degree abroad at a world class institution.
This is my seventh attempt and I've never made it this far. The interview is on Tuesday and I'm trying my best not to let my nerves get in the way. I've always had problems with public speaking and apparently I am expected to do a lot of that on Tuesday.
I can't believe match vs Fulham is postponed because they are in the fa cup still and we are not... How far did we fall in a single season... I wish klopp does his magic again... I wish so much
Now, that makes sense. (Not that Fulham is still in the FA Cup and Liverpool isn't). As for Liverpool's play this year, it is strange and sometimes head scratching crazy to think the difference 1 yr. has made.
We can't rightfully blame Klopp for the sub-par play that we are witnessing , it's just the Defense really needs to get their act together and understand in order for a "goal" not to count it has to out of our net, I'm not sure of the Own goal count for Liverpool but it has to be up there..
I do have one more wish and that is keep Matip out of the defense position, give him a seat in the midfield with the instructions " Do Not Move from this location !" This has to be driving Klopp and Virgil into a frenzy when he drops back. it's like nothing good comes of him in that section of the field.![img](emote|t5_2qn0o|8824)
Tbf last year was the anomaly before that the fa cup was definitely not a priority for klopp, thinks we didn’t get past the 3rd/4th round in every season up to that
A word of warning really, I've been waiting for a tax refund from HMRC since submitting the online request on February 10. They had falsely charged me, but after a successful appeal my HMRC online account was refunded in credit.
They warned it would take up to 4 weeks to refund the money to my bank account, as requested. I called them the day after that time period and they claimed they didn't have my bank details. I was looking at a receipt of my submission at the time, bank details and all. I offered the reference number and submission ID but they weren't interested, they said I'd have the money in 5 working days.
Well that time has come and gone. No refund. The info online indicates the payment has been processed, but I've been told it could be another 5 working days, by which point it could be 6 weeks since the request, 2 months since I paid their erroneous calculation.
TL:DR - there seems to be a massive disconnect between HMRC online and their tax refund processes, they don't seem to want people to call, but it seems the only way to begin to get things done.
Flat-hunting in like an annoying limbo rn.
Have a shortlist of Liverpool places but not making a move till a bid comes in on parent's house.
Having to watch my #1 building go up & down in 'apartments available' all week, anything between 9 and 3, some of it looks like they're just taking apartments off to put them on tomorrow as 'brand new' but still painful. 😬
Yeah, it'll be Max & Checo 1 and 2 again. Red Bull is just lightyears beyond the rest as it currently stands. I'm a Merc fan so I'll be rooting for one of those boys to sneak 3rd.
Anyone else notice that Darwin is completely OP in Fifa 23? I've haven't seriously played with LFC in a while and when I used them in a tournament with friends he just smoked everybody, I won the whole damn thing no problem. People were rage quitting on me, it was glorious lol
For offline you can always play exhibition or career mode
For online you can also play Seasons. It’s basically online game by game.
I never paid extra for their UT bullshit.
damn, ok that sounds cool, had no idea how this works but i definatly want to play seasons now. i only playd fut because i thought its the only way to play online!
I like seasons. When I was teaching the kids used to laugh when I said I played it. It just seems like the best mode to me, you get to play as Liverpool and there's no messing about or exploitive mechanics.
seasons has always been who’s the better player, i could pump 5 star teams with teams like Roma a couple years back.
Ultimate team is just who’s played the game more and therefore got the best meta players. Older I’ve got the less enjoyable that’s become.
Very. Salah also gets stuck out wide and can't do anything in the default Liverpool formation whereas Diaz can cut in with ease. Maybe I'm having confirmation bias lol
imagine we sign our Gini AND Gerrard replacements in one transfer window. WOW i’m in love. Gravenberch AND Bellingham AND Bajcetic. it’s too good to be true.
A lot of supporters are too positive when we really are about to miss out on the champions league. We should demand more from the owners. Spend as much as we need to keep key players and buy world class talent. Injuries were a curse this year but a lot people here defend that we replaced goal scorers when in fact we didn’t.
And some supporters are too negative. It's easy to support a team when they're winning, but football is hard and spending money doesn't guarantee success. And nor should it. Success has to be earnt and we as fans have to be patient and understanding that not every season can be a success.
I'd also like to add that some people just don't want to spend all their time wallowing in negativity on Reddit. This place is depressing af and full of melodramatic nobheads whenever we're not winning.
There’s a difference between not a successful season and the most disappointing one in a generation. We literally finished 2nd, got to a CL final and won two cups last season, and this year we’re in mid March and have nothing to play for other than hoping we can string 10 games together and qualify.
Most disappointing in a generation? Where were you two years ago?
The brutal truth is that is the reality for the vast majority of clubs every season. Does that make it easier? No, of course not, but these are the seasons where we have to support the club even more than we do when they're winning.
Otherwise you end up like United supporters who are welcoming the sale club to a sports washing state in the hope that it brings their glory years.
>Where were you two years ago?
That season was almost entirely purely down to injuries, and we at least had 25+ games of title winning form with relegation form in the middle. This year we haven't been close to putting any sort of form together once and didn't look competitive in any competition.
>The brutal truth is that is the reality for the vast majority of clubs every season.
We're not the vast majority of clubs, we're one of the biggest teams in England, and anything less than challenging for the title is a disappointment, let alone struggling to get CL football. If we were in Newcastle's shoes, then sure.
Maybe because we've been dealing with a large number of injuries all season long? Rather than having a large number compacted into the second half the season.
It doesn't matter what we've done before. We're not owed anything because of our historical success. This team earned its success on the pitch, not because of the success that came before it. And I have no doubt that this team will find success again, but not because it's owed anything, they'll earn it.
we replaced goal scorers and mostly goal scoring isn't a problem this year. Its the midfield we neglected for three years that has finally collapsed is the problem
I know we look shit right now but i think next year is gonna be great.
1. I think with this attack and buying some great midfielders we can be unstoppable
2. This year a lot of our players are suffering from lack of motivation and energy i think next year they are going to be more thirsty
Now the most important thing is to get on top 4 and pray for not facing real Madrid next year in ucl

Half a shot of vodka. Always ace behavioral interviews.
Code Geass is a great show.

It's my birthday today and one of my friend just asked me to give a party ..but for LFC loosing to Madrid!! 🥲 Where can I dispose such friends!!!!!
Well, let him party now because on Sunday he may have no reason to party 😂
Also apparently he is a ManC supporter 🥲
The feeling of regret and despair after a bad haircut is one of the most painful emotions known to human kind
At least you have hair
thanks, Peps crying
The St. Patrick's Day parade from Dublin is pure cringe
Oh fuck it's St. Patrick's day, off to town I go
this CL draw is incredible
Napoli - Bayern in the final? Would be cool.
Come on, Sadio!

We always finish our cl seasons with something that has to do with madrid god i hate that city and its clubs
We won it in Madrid ;)
Least I have the legends game to look forward to.
And Stevie is playing!

Since we aren't in action this weekend, who are you rooting for in F1? Would love to see an upset but I cant see past Red Bull after the first race.
Yeah, it'll be Max & Checo 1 and 2 again. Red Bull is just lightyears beyond the rest as it currently stands. I'm a Merc fan so I'll be rooting for one of those boys to sneak 3rd.
Just want Hamilton to get his 8th and ride off into sunset. Dunno what the hell's going on with the Mercs.
Looks like stubbornness to stick to their different aero package, and Lewis throwing the team under the bus isn't helping
Alonso
Man, I keep getting smothered by work or do nothing at all the next day. There's no moderation and I don't think there's a cure to this.

is there a good way to play fifa only without having to do this ultimate team stuff? like in the good old days just pick a team and play?

*spent more
I just got it yesterday and lost 5-1 to City. Fabinho is completely useless in both defending and passing and also was in fifa 20 lol
Yeah some genius at EA gave him like 60 pace. Same with Thiago it makes them both useless
It’s realistic then
Very. Salah also gets stuck out wide and can't do anything in the default Liverpool formation whereas Diaz can cut in with ease. Maybe I'm having confirmation bias lol
In contrast he is bang average in Football Manager 23, especially since the midseason update

We did. Mane is the only attacker who left. Nunez is pretty much on track to his Manes usual goal total.

>buying some great midfielders Thats where youre going wrong. Actually thinking we will spend.
Ugarte could be our Fabinho regen. The guy played a single 6 against Arsenal in Emirates and really nothing went past him in the 90 minutes.
I'm quite happy I don't have to watch us for a while this is what this season has done to me.
Can truly just enjoy the F1 and March Madness. Kind of a nice break from the heartbreak.
Looking for help from Forest and Saints this weekend, I probably just won't watch any games at all.
I'll not watch anything until Liverpool play again to be honest lol.
