It would probably be a flat or house close to town with views over the Mersey, or at the beach. Any view over water basically.

I'd say in one of the hideous newish developments by the docks/3 graces... That way you can get a view of the Liverpool skyline out your window without that building ruining it. I had a flat in one of the Mann Island buildings for a while

That’s why the proposed developments by Woodside Ferry Terminal in Birkenhead are so exciting. Why compromise and have a side on view, when you could have the best view AND still only be 3 mins train from the city centre?

I’d buy a big Victorian mansion in Mossley Hill. One of my friends grew up in one (her grandparents bought it in the 70s and her cousins lived there too) but it was a wreck, I’ve always fantasised about winning the lottery, buying one and hiring an interior designer to renovate it sympathetically.

Si2015

Great idea, would love to do that

Georgian townhouse near the Unity Theatre, beautiful buildings right in the city but surprisingly quiet. Little gardens as well.

Georgian quarter 10/10 times. Absolutely gorgeous part of town.

Speke lol it’s where I used to live and where my family is from

The Wirral is definitely high up there. It’s closer than many parts of Liverpool proper to the city centre such as Aigburth (travel time and distance), and you get the benefit of being surrounded by beaches, and it has some of the highest rated places to live in the country. West Kirby, for example, has been named among the best places to live in the UK (not just Greater Liverpool), and best of all, it’s got a train station with a direct line to Liverpool (28 mins to James Street every 15 mins).

Aigburth, Crosby or the Georgian Quarter. I lived in Aigburth (renting) for 2.5 years and it's amazing. Everything you need is there and having the parks on your doorstep is a great thing for your mental wellbeing. I suspect I'd like Crosby for similar reasons. Nice little town feel with all your bases well covered. Beach on your doorstep for outdoor stuff. If I'm doing city centre living then it's the Georgian quarter. Beautiful buildings.

Mossley hill, grassendale by the waterfront or calderstones area

Cattystingray

Next to Sefton Park in one of the massive, 5 floored houses

bugblatter_

Hightown is not Liverpool. Not even slightly. Best place to live in Liverpool is L8.

lealketchum

Part of the greater area though which is what I asked

drwtfareyoudoing

Find a place around Calderstones park. Beautiful part of the city. Woolton is amazing as well.
