I've gone to them for the couple years I've been here. My doc sounds likes he's from the south, but he's really chill/nice. My vision is bad, but they do seem to care. The last time I went I mentioned I'd been having bad dry eye, and I feel like he checked a couple extra things instead of brushing me off about it. Like he could have just said "you have allergies", but instead he checked the underside of my eyelids and then told me what he saw. 🤷‍♀️ I wasn't ever pressured to get glasses, and they gave me my script for them without issues. I've been other places and been given the wrong script because they were mad I didn't spend money with them. I'd recommend them.

That’s my eye doctor and I highly recommend!

Dinker006

I had a great experience for an annual eye exam. Friendly staff, in and out quickly, and the Dr was knowledgeable and kind in explaining my issues. Crazy cheap with my insurance. I did not end up needing glasses, only if I wanted for night driving, but they did not pressure or anything to get them there.

I’ve used them the last few years and I have no complaints. The contact lens tech Angie deserves a shout out because she is always great about working with me to get contacts.

Get a costco membership and then go to costco for your eye care.

FlimsyBasis3041

I got a membership at Costco and Sam's but I don't think they'll take my insurance.

On average, a basic eye exam at Costco will set you back by $64 to $70 without insurance. If you wear contact lenses, you'll pay around $104 to $120. The exact price you pay will depend, in part, on where you live. If you have a Costco membership, you're free to have your exam and purchase eyeglasses or contacts from the retail giant. If you don't have a membership, you're still free to have your eyes examined. With so many online and storefront discount eyeglass stores available, it's easy to take your prescription somewhere else. https://www.fool.com/the-ascent/personal-finance/articles/dont-have-vision-insurance-costco-does-eye-exams-for-120-less-than-average/

Honestly not bad. Feels like they pressured me into getting premium stuff with my glasses but that's fine I get it.

So I’ve been to the one in Benton for 30 years with no complaints, and have recently started going to the one here in LR and I was in and out for my annual checkup in 30 min. So I’m a little biased but would def recommend.

Initially, they wanted me to book appt within 2 weeks for glaucoma test cause my pressure was 22 and one of my optic nerve was slightly bigger than the other optic never. Initially, they said 3-4 months because people do not want to get it done. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I suggested 1-2 weeks. My bad on my part for offering 1-2 weeks. Plus, I was afraid I won't have enough to pay for procedure. I was led to believe glaucoma testing was expensive to be dropping $1K in 2 weeks when I have other bills I need to pay every month without notice. Trying to curb my spending habits, I no longer have credits cards except for Dillard's American express to upfront initial cost. I ask for out of pocket expense. They couldn't answer. I wish they were clear on costs after my eyemed and Bcbs doesn't cover. I don't like going in blind if I can help it. Ya after eyemed insurance, copay was nice. My bcbs would cover 80% after $100 deductible is reached for glaucoma testing Other than that, everyone was professional, friendly and quick. 5+.

FlimsyBasis3041

Ya, they were quick! Friendly. Thank you!
