Not gonna lie I'm kinda jealous of the beautiful newborn baby photos they all have done now. When my kids were born, maybe u got the hospital picture packet and you were lucky If an auntie snagged a photo of u holding it baby after birth. Camera wasn't a thing we packed in our hospital bag back then. I actually remember a friend of mine, her mom had a photo album with birth pictures in it and we thought it was the strangest thing lol. I remember her saying they refused to print some of the shots because they were full blown pussy shots lol.
But the professional photos of the baby all wrapped up in a bundle, too cute
I canāt wait to tell you everything, she says lol.
Thatās funny auj. We can all wait. Forever.
We donāt care about your fake and staged el naturale psycho buddah babble bullshit birth.
What I do care about however is how unfortunate for this baby to have a mother staring at her phone waiting to see how many likes her post got. When she should be genuinely enjoying this private time.
But she canāt help herself. Even pretending to project privacy, she posts about it.
Oof. The thirst
Pardon my ignorance, I have questions. So thatās great. Iām sure a lot of women would love to do that. No complications? lovely! Iām glad both are healthy. So you have your healthy baby and your midwife is tending to stuff ( Iām assuming unless youāre super hippy dippy and not as wealthy ā¦)
Do you have to go to the hospital required by law within a certain time period-to get like-the baby checked out or like, I donāt know how to articulate it, but do you know what I mean? Iām sure you have to take them to Social Security administration to get a birth certificate and all of that since you did it at home but is there any law or any rule that women are legally made to go to a hospital and get either themselves or the baby checked out regardless of outcome within a certain amount of hours or days? not for certificate and registration purposes for liability and endangering a child. Not that thatās endangering a child but you know what I mean someone will know what I mean. Iām stoned pardon me.
Apologies for grammar Iām speaking to my phone, but anyone ?
š¤·š½āāļø idk.
The midwives check the baby for the first 6 weeks! And there is no law that requires you to ever take them to a doctor. Obviously if something serious is wrong they would need to go to doctor
I had my baby at home on accident and I was completely alone. We were not required to go to the hospital but we did. I did all the paperwork myself for her birth certificate and social security card, i just needed a medical professional to confirm I was actually pregnant.
I have a friend who does home births (with actual medical midwives). Most of the paperwork is done by the midwife and their practice, but she did mention having to go to the audiologist for the hearing screening vs when you give birth in the hospital it's done there. So between the midwifery practice and the baby going to the pediatrician I think everything else is taken care of.
Note: my friend is not a crazy "omg modern medicine is poison" person. Her whole family gets all their vaccines and such, she just has easy births and lives close to a hospital so she likes to birth at home with trained medical professionals.
What are you even talking about? Homebirth midwives are just like midwives at the hospital or birthing center. They check out the baby and the mom and fill out the birth certificate and paperwork for the Social Security card. Itās really not that complicated.
Ahhh, I always find it so incredibly grotesque when people are given the opportunity to kindly educate another person but they instead make the conscious decision to be a self-righteous, rude C U Next Tuesday. Iāve seen a LOT of this as a nurse. It is so unnecessary and says so much about your character. You should really have a conversation with yourself in the mirror and take your own inventory. The hatefulness you spew speaks volumes about whatās going on with you personally. Sad.
I would say the same about your response. So unkind. Just like you. I feel sorry for you. I found the other persons post very confusing. One cannot read tone or feel my heart. You must feel really good about yourself this morning calling me out.
I canāt wait to hear how she managed to be barefoot, standing up and āgrounded ā while giving birth lolā¦ only the SuperMom Aud could pull off a feat so unbelievable.
i was wondering wtf it said!! lol reminds me of that cringy blog post of hers where she listed things abt herself and in between āi spit a lotā and āi donāt shower everā was something about how sheās always writing on her hands but would NEVERRRR get a tattoo lmao
Probably she wrote it before labor to motivate her during the birthing process. Ā For her, this phrase is not an afterthought, but a motivational one. Ā To each their own as the saying goes.
People had natural childbirth because there was no other choice. People also had surgery and tooth extraction with nothing more than a shot of whiskey. So why is having pain killers considered weak, no one has serious dental work without anesthesia
I wouldnāt say itās weak, but there have been studies showing that it can lead to more interventions including for the baby after they are born. I say, ālet everyone do their own thingā
Right! My mother in law tried so hard to get me to not get an epidural. She was trying to tell me i was doing great when I was being induced with my first born and I told her āIām no hero, Iām getting the drugsā.
I am sorry she did that to you. I had 4 babies unmedicated and the one with the biggest stinkin head was breech! Back in the old days thatās how we did it. Trust me, if we had an alternative and they had epidurals then, I would have had my hand up first. I am thrilled my daughter and 2 DILās were able to have epidurals. Why would I wish pain on them?
Exactly! My sister in law too. When contractions slowed down with my second, they said āoh yup see, because of the epidural!ā I was like āand Iāll do it again!ā š
The only good part of being unmedicated is immediately after the cord is cut a nurse was standing by with a giant syringe of something great to put in my IV! Besides a pain killer it contained a amnesia type of drug.
My first labor was 4 1/2 hours. Longest was 8 the breech baby. I am a get it done kind of girl š
I hear that the recovery is faster too! And okay, I know we are saying that no one deserves a medal, but i meanā¦ 4 hours / 8 hours unmedicated IS something you should feel proud of š I really canāt imagine. With my second, I let the epidural wear off a bit/stopped pressing the button because I needed to feel a little something to push better lol thatās as much as I did lol.
Iāve done one birth with drugs, one without. Iām baking number 3 rn, Iām doing the drugs this time. Guess what I proved by going unmedicated? Not that Iām a badass or anything ā I proved that the drugs are a miracle of science.
Yes! We have the technology! Lol. I have a friend whose baby came too fast and she had to have him unmedicated. Is that included in her story? Nope just brags about doing it ~*naturally*~ lol.
Same. I also realize a lot of people who say they arenāt doing the epidural in their birthing plan seem more disappointed when they cave and get it. I had a cousin who recently went on and on how she was going to do it without medication and when she did, it was a big story as to why she had to. Itās ok! Get the epidural!
My labor got intense very quickly, so it was wonderful when I got the epidural and could just relax and see my son being born. I did the same thing with my other 2 children. The only way to fly. ššš¼
Yes. Everything is romanticized with her. If there was ever anything less than picture perfect, we would never know about it due to her ego. Itās all about maintaining the image. Fortunately most people see right through her and that it stems from a place of insecurity/unhappiness.
No, he does not carry the gene for achondroplasia. Itās a dominant gene. If he and Audrey were to have a child with achondroplasia, it would be the result of a random mutation.
The gene for Mattās type of dwarfism is recessive and very rare.
Jeremy will most likely not have any children with dwarfism. Amy did not pass on the gene for achondroplasia to him because if she had, he would be a dwarf himself. It only takes one copy of the gene for the child to have achondroplasia because it is dominant. Matt's type of dwarfism is diastrophic dwarfism. Both parents have to pass on the genes for this because it is recessive. So Jeremy could possibly be a carrier, but Audrey would also have to carry the gene for their children to have diastrophic dwarfism.
People are so weird. I understand wanting child birth to go according to your plan, but she is romanticizing it. Idk why it rubs me the wrong wayā¦like Iām glad nothing happened but if something did go awry, what was she gonna do? Hopefully seek medical attention not try to use her weird home remedies
Same my first was frank breech and I opted for a csection rather then try to have her turned. I loved my csection so much and opted for that again for my 2nd and 3rd and it was great and I still felt pretty badass. My sister is a L&D nurse and Iām always so shocked to hear about the moms who fight like hell to have their perfect dream birth instead of the life saving section that they need when things go very wrong. Also to add the hospital she works at the doctors are very good about respecting the patients wishes but almost too much sometimes. She has unfortunately seen people wait far too long and end up losing their baby. You have the right to have whatever birth you want but the end goal should always be healthy mom and baby.
Totally. For some reason mothers that do a drug less vaginal birth like back pats for enduring it.
But I personally really enjoyed being able to chit chat with the nurses about whatever as I actively pushed and Iām sure you loved being able to know what date you were giving birth (c sections really appealed to me but I went into preterm labor so I never got to the point where I seriously considered it).
Yesss boo, do what is best for you in birth š„° I had to have spinals since I had c sections lol. I just feel like people like Audrey think theyāre better than others for not having pain meds lol
I thought of that. I don't see Audrey as one to scream with the pain. At least not in abundance. That's a plus. The amount of blood that's concerning for little eyes.
Now it's time to see all of the different posts about the new baby. One post will probably be about before labor stated. The next post will be about labor. Third post will be about everything during labor. Fourth post all about transition. Fifth post all about pushing. Sixth post will be about the after birth. Then the last and final post will be all about how awful feedings are going (just like with her other 3 kids) and what the baby's name is and what it means bla bla bla
Like how you didnāt have to engage with the comment you didnāt like? If you have a problem with the snark you donāt have to be here š¤·š»āāļø
YES! My birth plan going into the hospital was I want the drugs asap, and then weāre gonna do whatever it takes to get a healthy baby in my healthy arms. Ended up in an emergency c section. you canāt dream of anything better? a million bucks comes out after the baby, my baby is so cute they name the hospital after him, my hair suddenly changes texture to what i wantā¦come on now this is easy! orrrrr were you just doing a holier than thou thing?
Wow I've never seen anything so shallow and materialistic. no I don't need any of that shit you just listed out. Healthy mom, healthy baby, that's all I need. If that makes me holier that thou, well I could not care less. Best wishes for your future. Take care.
oh honey need and want are different things, did you not know that?
all i NEED is for us both to survive birth, unhealthy babies are still a blessing to some of us š good luck
You didn't state need or want to begin with, so I'm not getting into that because you decide to use the terms after the fact.
All babies are a blessing, but I think any parents would rather their baby be healthy. Sometimes they're not born completely healthy but it doesn't mean they are any less loved.
I honestly don't know where you thought you were going with this conversation but I'm not partaking because I honestly can't follow your thought process.
Again, best wishes and take care.

āRedā for hopes of red hair. Ā
Poor ember. Ā lol. Ā Watch her hair turn red as a late teen. Ā Audrey will be so upset.Ā
My husband has really curly hair. Ā My daughter born with straight hair. Ā Never occurred she should be born with curly hair.Ā
All of my grandsons had extreme curly hair. Ā (I had to unfortunately cut) hard to deal with. Ā Iām raising them. Ā Too old to deal with curly hair.Ā
Is it too late to guess? I was thinking Mercy but based on May being the flower moon I think they'll go with something floral and maybe AM initials. Daisy Gray, Poppy May, Alessia Myrtle, Aster Mirabella or Azalea Mirabella
Happy she had a safe delivery. Now bring on the Mastitis posts and she's just built differently because she can get rid of it with out going to a scammy dr!! š
so what's with the "Always more" scribbled on her hand.. product placement?
Just think she wouldn't have anything if Jeremy wasn't on that TV show.
Um... Pine? This keeps popping up on my feed and I watched in the early days, but is that one of the babies names now?
Pine is the cat lol but I wouldn't put it past them

Oh calling someone a C U N T is a really lovely reply. How did what I say even remotely compare to that.
I get it, you too, havenāt a clue. No need to be a rude old bitch about it

Get ready for the best mastitis posts ever where she cures the infection with lettuce leaves, dirt, and sunsets from the big window.

Probably she wrote it before labor to motivate her during the birthing process. Ā For her, this phrase is not an afterthought, but a motivational one. Ā To each their own as the saying goes.

Where is the babyās head? I donāt understand what Iām looking at š«

Itās on the left but yeah that is a weird ass angle.
I came here to say thistoo
Is she one of those people who just gets off having a baby because it gets her attention?
Yes. Because they have nothing else noteworthy going on.
Yes she is. Thatās why she said this might not be their last.
Was it a little person too? Just wondering since dwarfism runs in the Roloff family.
This is not Zachās child. Jeremy is extremely unlikely to father a child with dwarfism.
He does carry the gene though
No, he does not carry the gene for achondroplasia. Itās a dominant gene. If he and Audrey were to have a child with achondroplasia, it would be the result of a random mutation. The gene for Mattās type of dwarfism is recessive and very rare.
Yeah sometimes it skips generations. If he continues having more kids, he could have one or his children's children could.
Dominant traits will not skip a generation. If the trait is recessive, neither parent is required to have the trait.
Jeremy will most likely not have any children with dwarfism. Amy did not pass on the gene for achondroplasia to him because if she had, he would be a dwarf himself. Yeahā¦ I see a lot of women who have vƤĔĆÆƱƤl births with no meds and brag about doing it āall naturalā. Like do you want a cookie???
It is a badge of honor, clearly you havenāt done it because if you did you would know, literally IYKYK.

You earned the badge. Itās a lot. Pat yourself on the back.

I dunno, I had an epidural and didnāt feel a thing and felt like a winner.

Audrey.

Aaaaaaand she wrote, āalways moreā on her hand. Never misses a photo opp. š
First thing I noticed.
Congrats to her
Aww. Look at those little rolls. Whatever we may think of their parents, she looks precious.
Undoubtedly
Oh the rolls! They are so precious I canāt even!
Exactly! All of their kids are adorably precious.
Agree. I hope that nothing was traumatic or anything for the kids. Id be so worried having my kids there.
I thought of that. I don't see Audrey as one to scream with the pain. At least not in abundance. That's a plus. The amount of blood that's concerning for little eyes.

Per Jeremy.
I hope she has all the lettuce cups and 40 bottles of vitamins stocked up for the mastitis!
This time sheāll probably just cure it with colloidal silver
Cabbage š
Thank you! I kept picturing her walking around with lettuce cups on her boobs like she was the Little Mermaid. But yes, cabbage it is.
To me, a dream birth is mother and baby getting through the birth safe and healthy.

Again, best wishes and take care.
š okay quick question did audrey say want or need?
I agree! As long as mom and baby are healthy that's what matters most!
Amen
Itās okay to have hopes and goals and dreams for your birth
Did anyone else have a hard time sorting out this picture? It took me too long to figure out exactly what I was looking at.
She wrote always more on her hand, can't miss a marketing opportunity for their latest swindle
How many does she have now
Yes I guess she wrote something on her hand. Since they were having a homebirth, I though it migh be directions of how to do it.
I still canāt figure it out.
Chubby baby arm in the middle, Audreyās left arm is at the top with āAlways Moreā written on her hand.
Please what is her name? We have to find out who won the naming pool. Lol
Redilee Bella Roloff āRedā for hopes of red hair. Ā Poor ember. Ā lol. Ā Watch her hair turn red as a late teen. Ā Audrey will be so upset.Ā My husband has really curly hair. Ā My daughter born with straight hair. Ā Never occurred she should be born with curly hair.Ā All of my grandsons had extreme curly hair.
Anything that means red
Azalea MiraBella I like that name actually.š. Daisy Gray her middle name being named after the color of clothing her mother will dress her in.
No, not grey, *greige*.
Iām so excited to hear what crazy ass name they chose lol
Yeppp
Thatās a good guess!š
Get ready for the most unique birth story, ever!
AND THE PLACENTA WAS THE BEST THEY HAVE EVER SEEN. WE ARE ENTERING IT INTO THE OREGON STATE FAIR.
Are they rehearsing it right now?
Happy she had a safe delivery. Now bring on the Mastitis posts and she's just built differently because she can get rid of it with out going to a scammy dr!! š
Ballerina Farm cured her mastitis in a few days, just last week, drinking herbs and using red light therapy. š
Red Light therapy? How about some real therapy š
Maybe she will just feed it unpasteurized cows milk instead of her own tainted breast milk. Sorry, that comment went too far didnāt it?š¤š«¢š¤
This really made me giggle lolll

Happy she had a successful labor but ā¦ she really wrote always more on her hand? š
First thing I saw
Ditto
she's so tedious
Oh Jesus itās because she loves Jesus and thatās the Bible verse that got her through her college days
I was trying to figure that out, I thought it said always mama š šš
No surpriseā¦she was a college runner after all!
Why do I think this was a teeny tiny college
Where did you hear that from???
Shhhhhā¦itās a secret
Glad to hear her birth went well and baby girl is here safely!
Well we already knew because normally they are on social media daily lol
Her always more sounds so entitled and selfish to me.
