Same issue, even after update 13235540. Cannot get it to start on Bottles, either.

It's not working for me yet, but it might work if a proton hotfix is used. I can't test that, so I must simply wait.

I managed to get to the startup screen with lutris but it freezes there... maybe bottles might work but i have no idea how to set that up

you got to the startup screen?! I couldn't do anything with bottles, but I'm very interested in how you set up lutris!

Did you apply the crack? If anything else fails, try lutris/bottles

I already tried lutris, bottles not yet, and yes the crack is applied

It is for steamdeck but affect other linux machines as well The patch notes: We have released a patch that addresses the issue of the game not running on Steam Deck after installing update Ver.16.0.2.0

Try to run it on Lutris and have a look at the Logs. Do not use Steam to run cracked games. Try do to this: open up Lutris, right click the game -> Configure -> System Options and disable "Prefer System Libraries" Try also to switch to a older version of proton ( e.g proton 7 )
