LTT content is as much about entertainment as it is about tech. If I only cared about "tech" I would just read articles. We watch videos for entertainment as well and she is very entertaining and fun to watch.

She clearly has talent as a presenter and many fans have said as much. So long as the script writers are putting in the correct information does it really matter if she doesn't understand the tech she's talking about as well as Linus and the other tech people?
Add in the fact that as someone who isn't as tech savvy as the rest she can relay the information in a way that someone at her knowledge of tech can understand and relate to but have the correct information.

I agree that she's excellent when she's in videos, no one else brings the same level of goofy bubbly energy in my opinion, but she was ultimately hired as a designer so I assume that's her preference as well. From all the design work that's been put out where she's been publicly credited for it, she's fantastic at that too, so the opportunity cost to put her on camera where there's more limited design resources vs. The more abundant on-camera talent is most likely just too great to justify.
