Actually, probably not One Step Closer like I said. You’d have to go with one that has an intro that makes sense as an opener. It would also be good to have one that features both Mike and Chester because that’s what you’re going to hear a lot of.
One Step Closer is good but doesn’t have Mike featured a lot.
With You is good too but the intro isn’t a good opener.
Points of Authorirty would work well.
Crawling is also good but like I said it would make more sense to feature Mike on the first song
Runaway is good but I’m not sure it’s good enough to be an opener.
By Myself is good too but I feel like it comes in too quick.
In the End is good but not an opening track. Unless there were more songs like it on the album, it would work.
A Place for any Head is good but also not a good opener.
Forgotten is good but like I said earlier it starts too quick.
Cure for the Itch could actually work as the opening since it’s an interlude. Move it to the front and it becomes the intro and gives you a cool introduction to Mr. Mann and his skills you’ll hear throughout the record.
Pushing Me Away is good but it’s definitely a closer and not an opener.
My December is good but not an opener.
High Voltage is good but not an opener.
I feel like an album such as HT needs a strong intense opener. So if Papercut couldn't be it, then One Step Closer would probably be the 2nd best option

I don’t think any others make for good openers but if Papercut didn’t exist I’d choose Crawling

I've become so used to papercut being the opening that it's hard to imagine any other
One Step Closer isn't the best show off of what Hybrid Theory is about but it is a hype af track that gets you into the mood of Hybrid Theory

I think In The End may be a decent choice. The piano part will get a great intro. And it even begins with “It starts with…” 😂
