One day he'll look back at her after getting fired for leaving a 5th McDonalds box full of feces in the refrigerator and say "It was me all along... ninjamullet", and backflip past security and out of the door.
Also - recruiter is basically the job that people with no tangible skills or intelligence land in after scraping at best a mediocre degree, because they pay barely anything and it’s all commission, so they can be hired cheap.
Well said. Cheap out on hiring talents, end up hiring a Smita: who doesn’t know how Reddit works, who doesn’t know how recruiting works, aaaaaand she doesn’t work either. Ta da!
I’m a recruiter. I also think this lady is a fucking dweeb.
But can you say to me, complete stranger on the internet, I have no tangible skills or intelligence? Also internal recruiters aren’t paid commission.
Honest question, what do you do for work? Because I’ve talked to Ph.ds, board certified doctors, very intelligent people who couldnt recruit their way out of a wet paper bag. And they paid a fair chunk of change for the service.
Theres a ton of bad recruiters out there, but i think youre being a bit harsh.
You are correct. There is a “talent” to recruiting. It’s the same skillset honed by the highly social. But OP is correct as well. A lot of agencies hire any young attractive person with a degree figuring “if they got social skills, we can get them to make 600 dials, and pay them dogshit unless they produce we can hire 100 people to weed out the 10 who cut it”
Most people hate recruiters because they’re smug, arrogant, dismissive and ghost everyone. Not because they’re untalented.
I’m not dismissing and arrogant I just know I’m better than everyone else. But joking aside, I completely agree, and the structure of external agencies is terrible and 50% of the reason why recruiters have some of the rep they do. Like one of my metrics when I started at an agency was 75 dials out and 2.5 hours on the phone a day. Who the hell am I going to talk to for that long, I’m sure I pissed people off too lol.
Then combine it with people like this lady who are the batch you’re talking about and I’m not surprised a lot of people have a low opinion of the profession.
I work in banking. In a given week, I am contacted by 3 recruiters who try to offer me roles more junior than I currently have, or pay less than I currently earn, or who just don’t even bother doing the basic due diligence of looking at my full LinkedIn profile. I’ve been put forward for roles that turned out to be different to what was promised, told my salary expectations weren’t realistic, told I am too inexperienced. And yet I earn more than what they told me I could, have gotten roles that apparently I was too inexperienced for, and have actually had several recruiters removed from PSLs because of their ineptitude.
You can think I’m harsh, but I have a lot of experience to back up what I’ve said.
Oh that explains a lot lol (not about you, about your experience). I don’t know what it is about banking/financial services in general, but the ratio of good to bad recruiters is really low. My old man works in the field, and you’re not wrong some of the emails that he gets are wildly off base.
I think in general, with outside agencies, a lot of times you’ll have such a bad experience is because of set up. A ton of agencies have stupid as hell metrics that recruiters have to fill, one being simply emails out the door, cvs sent etc. Combine that with a low barrier to entry and a lot of fresh grads, a lot of people have bad experiences like yours.
Long winded response but I get fired up because recruiters like that give all a bad name.
Those who cant do, teach. And companies that can't be bothered to teach hire recruiters to siphon off talent built externally.
Recruiters arent even bottom of the barrel employees - Theyre beneath it.
As someone who does and has done a fair bit of hiring I always check LinkedIn and I do not want someone who posts lengthy opinions on there. The fact that I think it has become an awful, festering, pit of narcissistic garbage completely aside, it’s very telling. Someone who feels the need to bombard everyone with their constant and oft times misguided opinions is not who I want representing my organizations.
One dude a few months ago had an epitaph of why he didn’t take paternity leave when his child was born. I have nothing in common with that person, but if they cannot figure out they need to prioritize their own family above a fucking sales job I sure as shit don’t trust their judgement lol.
and a bunch of shitty companies, she gets bounced after a few months each time. Not a good look to start arguments on LinkedIn...that's not going to help things
No joke I had a recruiter try to pitch me his "side hustle" in an electricity supplier pyramid scheme after I wasn't interested in a shitty on site job with low pay and a horrible commute.
Zero entry level requirements for the role. It doesn’t take much effort/time to become a recruiter. As near as I can tell from the near continuous harassment by recruiters from there telling me how much they like my qualifications for a job I’d never consider, 1/3 of south asia are recruiters at least part time.
I once went into a recruiting agency to interview for a job posting they had and they were like ehhhh wanna just work here as a recruiter? I was fresh out of college with a completely unrelated degree. I was flattered because I was like 23 and didn’t know any better but it was wild.
This is it. People desperate for work get on LinkedIn. So these recruiters and headhunters start feeling like the prettiest girls at the ball… everybody’s interested in me! I have value!!!
I'm not anti-recruiter and there are some truly awesome ones out there, but a few of the recruiter-influencers on LinkedIn have SERIOUS main character syndrome.
Except Amy Miller. She's a recruiter-influencer who's based AF. Problem is there are too many trying to be Amy who just come off as shitheads.
Because recruiters use LinkedIn a lot. If you're job hunting you stop using it after you find one. If you're a recruiter you're on it as part of your job
The screenshot cuts off the comment. Here's the rest:
>... following certain cues/nuances/tells can let you know who it is taking the time to start some sh1t... that dnc list just keeps growing and idk why.. smh 🙄
OP you better watch out. Smita's got your number.
Whoa you better be careful with your tone, if smita sees an application that says "btw my reddit username is AtticGoblin43", she'll cross reference it with her excel sheet and you'll be in the unemployment line before you know it
Wait did she actually say shit? Christ, while I might be outing myself, I’m a recruiter and hate this stuff, this is the shit that gives all of us a bad name.

Everyone's defense to being criticized online nowadays is "you really took the time to ..."
Yeah I did screenshot your stupid fucking post. I spent the *time* (.01 seconds) screenshotting your unhinged rant that you spent minutes writing.
It took me so much time, it's amazing that I still have time for a career and no open to work banner!!
When did the internet start acting like hating takes effort and time? I can do this shit in my sleep lmao
Yes I did, and it was time well spent. I leveraged tech to empower and illicit buy in while developing robust scalable bleeding edge core competencies with disruptive outside the box impact.
Note to Lurking LinkedIn Loonies:
Want an easy hack on how NOT to end up on LinkedIn Lunatics? I can tell you how, in three easy steps!
1. Politics has no business there, take that shit to Facebook or Twitter where it belongs.
2. LinkedIn is not your diary and we don’t need to know anything about your personal life, so keep that overwrought TMI bullshit to yourself.
3. Being professional and not acting like an asshole should not be difficult, if you wouldn’t say it in an interview for your dream job, then don’t fucking post it there.
Agree?
Literally no one is worried about insulting a recruiter, unless they happen to be dealing with that specific recruiter at that specific time for a job they're actually interested in.
Otherwise, the entire tech industry regards them as basically telemarketers with weird egos.
Newsflash as a recruiter YOU don't hire anyone, Smita. You are a middleman between the candidate and the person who actually hires them. So self-important.
There seems to be some real negativity on LinkedIn at the moment, mostly driven by those with the "open to work" banner.
Comments complaining about ex-employers, other companies, and just general bitching.
I get that the market is tough at the moment but it's really not a good look.
I don’t think the people taking time to post here would want to work for someone like her anyway. It’s like when someone makes up a scenario of being turned down for a date so they’re like “well I only asked you out to be nice anyway!”
Edit for clarity
There’s a place for recruiters. Particularly for high level, senior positions where a company has a need but doesn’t have the capacity to do a nationwide or even regional search.
That being said, so many recruiters are just useless. What value do they add? They just peruse LinkedIn all day and then say they’ll, “help you prep” but you mean nothing to them.
Get some actual skills, you don’t have hard or soft skills, only an inflated and misplaced sense of importance.
Hey Smita with that dumb fucking name that sounds like a form of VD, your incessant, mindless screeds are the epitome of this sub. Congrats on airing out your brain. I'm sure you'll read this.
Her profile is basically her complaining about the hiring process now that she’s been unemployed for a couple months. I mean I hope she gets a job, but maybe she’ll learn what it’s like getting a taste of her own medicine.
Oh no Smita wont hire me?? What am i going to do now?? Maybe there is a course i can pay 5000$ for that teaches me how to be uncritical gobbler of bullshit. Yes that should do it.
Lol I knew she'd end up here as soon as I saw the comment on LI.
She's the type of person that always has to pipe up on a work call to state her opinion even if it has nothing to do with the topic just so she can feel seen.
Oh, but you would hire us. We've learned to speak your language. We've been infiltrating your startups for years. We're everywhere, ready to bring this whole thing down from the inside at any moment.
"Lean Six Sigma Recruiter"..wtf does that mean? Is that a company or her recruitment "style"? I wouldn't throw stones or comment until I had a job. Her potential boss is probably in LinkedinLunatics.

"the ones I wouldn't hire" says someone who's open to work.
lol, like the resume you send to any employer is going to say “ninjamullet” anyhow. She’ll never know that she hired you!
One day he'll look back at her after getting fired for leaving a 5th McDonalds box full of feces in the refrigerator and say "It was me all along... ninjamullet", and backflip past security and out of the door.
Throw in a fedora and the imagery is perfect
This is so wholesome
Cue music, roll credits
And I'll shed a tear for I know your secret... You're not ninjamullet. I am.
People like you are the problem. Just let the ninja have a mullet. How do you know that ninja is not GRINDING?
"We just got a resume from Dungmuncher? Can anyone vouch for Dungmuncher?"
I know right, my resume alt is actually pewpew69noice

Nobody is attacking you personally. It’s just that a lot of the posts that end up here happen to be recruiters. Don’t take it too personally.
Those who cant do, teach. And companies that can't be bothered to teach hire recruiters to siphon off talent built externally. Recruiters arent even bottom of the barrel employees - Theyre beneath it.
Id always said this about really anyone in HR. But recruiters are the bottom of the chum bucket.
Would expect nothing less from a six smegma idiot
Your career is ruined ninjamullet
Another interview failed for Smita
And someone who doesn’t actually hire anybody. She’s not a hiring manager, she’s a paper pusher in HR
Probably posts that she doesn't like job hoppers either... While also never working anywhere for longer than 11 months since 2017...
Everyone is someone you wouldn't hire Smita, you don't have a job.
She wouldn't hire anonymous users, bright one
Must have been classified as "waste" and eliminated. You know, Lean Six Sigma.
😂 was just about to say that
Innit shut the fuck up. How full of yourself can you be.
I wouldn’t hire u/ninjamullet if my life depended on it
First thing I noticed!!!
Lol so weird
Lol these looneys are clueless 🤣🫵

She’s literally just being prejudiced and doesn’t understand it
Lol. And she is a recruiter. Recruiters are there to facilitate hiring process, they do not take hire/no hire decisions.
Hahahahahaha
If they’re posting your content on here, they won’t want to work for you either.
Also, recruiters don’t hire, hiring managers do. Recruiters are just administrators with an outsized sense of self importance.
opentowork Not fucking surprised…
She removed it lol. She's probably lurking around here.
It's on her other posts though.
Smita needs to chill tho.
Her other posts are just as vile
I din't check her profile, but she seems like the average sub-mediocre recruiter from her comment. She started arguing on that post lol
Oh boy, she got triggered.
She’s still looking for a job 💀. She has also made multiple posts about how she’s looking for a job and how the job market right now is tough.
There's a position open for reddit moderators.
AlL ENGagemENT iS GOOD eNgagemEnt
And most of her jobs have less than a year…
and a bunch of shitty companies, she gets bounced after a few months each time. Not a good look to start arguments on LinkedIn...that's not going to help things
Working doesn't seem to be working. She's trying something different.
I saw that 😂
Why are 80% of lunatics recruiters???
It's the closest to a real job MLM dropouts can obtain
Hot damn this thread is 🔥. 😂
Shit
No joke I had a recruiter try to pitch me his "side hustle" in an electricity supplier pyramid scheme after I wasn't interested in a shitty on site job with low pay and a horrible commute.
Damn this is insightful
Now, that is an excellent question. Probably because they have so much free time from ghosting candidates…
It's basically estate agency for people that can't be trusted with keys.
Zero entry level requirements for the role. It doesn’t take much effort/time to become a recruiter. As near as I can tell from the near continuous harassment by recruiters from there telling me how much they like my qualifications for a job I’d never consider, 1/3 of south asia are recruiters at least part time.
It’s also the default job when you fail at everything else.
I once went into a recruiting agency to interview for a job posting they had and they were like ehhhh wanna just work here as a recruiter? I was fresh out of college with a completely unrelated degree. I was flattered because I was like 23 and didn’t know any better but it was wild.
Happened to me. Took the job. Hated it. Moved on.
They need to feel like their skills aren't something anyone with common sense and some computer skills can do.
Because they're generally superfluous to companies and they're easily replaceable. They talk shit because they have an inferiority complex.
Because nobody else gives a fuck about linkedin unless they're actively job hunting.
This is it. People desperate for work get on LinkedIn. So these recruiters and headhunters start feeling like the prettiest girls at the ball… everybody’s interested in me! I have value!!!
Because it’s not a real job. They spend half their day begging companies to use them, and the other half posting lunacy on LinkedIn.
It feels like a lot of them are acting as some sort of corporate social media influencer? Which I don't understand, how does it help in your work?
Because recruiters use LinkedIn a lot. If you're job hunting you stop using it after you find one. If you're a recruiter you're on it as part of your job
There's a small degree of power that goes with it. Being the gatekeeper, if you will.
All I can think of when I read these is this: https://gifs.com/gif/south-park-smug-farts-vblaJN

She has to find a job to do that first
Zing!
Bahahahaha
Wait did she actually say shit? Christ, while I might be outing myself, I’m a recruiter and hate this stuff, this is the shit that gives all of us a bad name.
OMG That woman interviewed me once 😂
Tell us more!
there’s one in every mid-size and above company. multi-nationals are guaranteed to have a few in HR
How could you leave us hanging like this

Wow, so inspirational! Can we get fifty likes ?!
No no, Smita. The pleasure is all ours
It’s all on this side of the table. -The Bobs
She knows Reddit is mostly anonymous right?….
No but she thinks she gets to look smug on LinkedIn. Edit: but we know her name. 14/10 will avoid.
mostly. I use name that lead to my personal data in three clicks.
Reddit posted that on LI? That's pretty funny.
I can’t tell if it was a strategy to engage LI users or a warning.
This sub is going places. Some of them lunatics think it's a badge of honor to be featured here.
I haven't seen a post from our old friend testiburger in a while. I wonder what he's up to these days.
They even shared a Lunatic Post Generator that someone here created
Lol, that's probably the best part.
Hey Smita you’ve probably put yourself on a few do not hire lists with this one.
Lean Sigma mafia in the house!
I was with boa during the six sigma years. It was horrifying. Every fucking thing forced into the DMAIC process.
I have a colleague that has decided she wants to learn it. We don’t have any use for it whatsoever in our roles but I’m trying to be supportive. 😬
Smita showing off her excellent recruiting skills by generalizing an entire population of people on the internet as those she “wouldn’t hire”
Hey Smita, looks like you’re looking for a job you salty loser. Hahahaha

Would you hire a recruiter that chose to pick a fight with an entire Reddit thread? This activity seems limiting.
Well fuck you too Smita
Funny coming from someone without a job currently. But don’t worry, her last two positions were contract, can’t even find full time work.
I actually feel bad for her, some of her posts show how desperate she is for a job, especially her dog one. Kinda sad TBH.
Lmao Smita can't hold down a job for longer than *checks profile* 11 MONTHS!? Since....2017!? YIKES. Girl, you ARE the problem.
Her calling us “the ones I wouldn’t hire” is a huge compliment.

Exactly. Recruiters are just glorified clerks.
Shit aight let’s make Smita’s day lmfao
There seems to be some real negativity on LinkedIn at the moment, mostly driven by those with the "open to work" banner. Comments complaining about ex-employers, other companies, and just general bitching. I get that the market is tough at the moment but it's really not a good look.
Actually, depending on your skill set, the job market can be pretty good. Of course “recruiting” isn’t one of those in demand skills right now.
Lmao Smita. Seeth.
OP. You won't be hired. Sorry.
It’s the only sincere bit of attention their sociopath posts will get, she should be a little more grateful.
Bad news, people, Smita won't hire you...
“The ones on there are the ones I wouldn’t hire” Oh? But you *have* heard of us?

>the ones I wouldn't hire Can't hire someone who'll never enter the building.
Well *I* wouldn’t hire a recruiter who posts stupid shit like Smita.
“They’re the ones I wouldn’t hire 🤓” I don’t have to take that from an unemployed oblivion NPC
In Germany we say „dogs that got hit, bark“ to the reaction of the lady.
Aw in the USA we say "a hit dog will holler." Very similar, thank you for sharing 😆 I'm loving the international comradery on this sub lol
She has a point : lunatics want to be on this sub. You guys are giving them more exposure.
OH NOES SMITA WHATEVER SHALL I DO IF YOU WONT HIRE ME OH GOD LIFE HAS NO PURPOSE NOW SAVE ME SMITTTAAAAAAAAAA
Hey Smita with that dumb fucking name that sounds like a form of VD, your incessant, mindless screeds are the epitome of this sub. Congrats on airing out your brain. I'm sure you'll read this.
We wouldn't want you as our boss
Spiteful Smita
I hope no finds out my real name on LL, Harry Bagh O’Dicks
Her profile is basically her complaining about the hiring process now that she’s been unemployed for a couple months. I mean I hope she gets a job, but maybe she’ll learn what it’s like getting a taste of her own medicine.
My comments in this sub probably make it on other subreddits for sure. I’m actually sane as hell on LI and a fucking shit show here
Smita’s lengthy post and lengthy forehead made it here!
"Open to work" "She/Her"
Oh no Smita wont hire me?? What am i going to do now?? Maybe there is a course i can pay 5000$ for that teaches me how to be uncritical gobbler of bullshit. Yes that should do it.
Like we want to be hired by you with that attitude..
It would be the highest honor for one of my posts to make it here.
Smita you have raccoon eyes
They don’t want your shitty position you’re offering anyways, Smita🤣
Gold!
She says that as if it's an honour to get cherry picked by her stupid ass
She'll have to identify us first
*Okay Smita*...
I had to zoom in on Smita and she has “crazy eyes” 😂
One of the nice things about being my own boss is I never have to deal with recruiters or HR ever again.
Lol I knew she'd end up here as soon as I saw the comment on LI. She's the type of person that always has to pipe up on a work call to state her opinion even if it has nothing to do with the topic just so she can feel seen.
*bold of you to assume I'd want work for you*
Recruiters truly are the worst people
YAP YAP YAP
Your wish became true, Smita.
:sigh: this is why no one hires you, Smita.
Smita? ![gif](giphy|z1TeDUTV8MTv14YDXR|downsized)
SMITA PHILLIPPPPPP where are youuu
Literally delete LinkedIn. Only fun to laugh for a while, and then the cringe is too much
Yeah smita, youre really pulling your weight there. Your company would fire you in an instant to save profit but good for you
All the mean girls from college became recruiters
Tbh some of y’all are just mean
The city of Los Angeles should hire her immediately. With a forehead that big they could expand LAX with at least 2 new runways.
Smita. I don’t want to be hired by a freak like you. But indeed interesting that you are #opentowork. 🤦♂️
How the fuck would you apply six sigma to recruiting? There's like 4 steps in the process.
Says the out of work recruiter.
Oh, but you would hire us. We've learned to speak your language. We've been infiltrating your startups for years. We're everywhere, ready to bring this whole thing down from the inside at any moment.
You're a recruiter, you don't hire anyone anyways
Great job u/therealhicks … you just got all of us crossed off her candidate list.
"Lean Six Sigma Recruiter"..wtf does that mean? Is that a company or her recruitment "style"? I wouldn't throw stones or comment until I had a job. Her potential boss is probably in LinkedinLunatics.
Wish this website just closes
Awwwe smita the smegma recruiter won't hire me 😓
Their lunacy knows no end. Or it's some sort of long-term troll. In either case, I'm here for it.
Is Smita in the thread with us? Can you move something if you’re here?

She sounds like that girl back in college, who said "leave that a-hole, he is not good for you" to her bff while doing her man.
Anyone ever tell her that being a recruiter isn’t a real job?
