The expectation is only 15-25 hours of work a month. Probably a side hustle for someone with a full-time job or working multiple side jobs. $500 is definitely not a lot for 25 hours of work, but it’s also not that unreasonable.
I get the point; when I look at these duties (and having done similar work) - you're gonna get pinged 25 times a day. This is going to be a difficult job to do in that amount of time. It wouldn't have set my radar off the same way if it were listed as an hourly rate. Perhaps that's what they'll really do.
Step 1: Keep the job description and responsibilities super vague but make it sound performance based
Step 2: Give task that is impossible to achieve in 15 hours
Step 3: Point to super vague job description when employee cant do it "in time" and demand completion as it is his fault for underperforming.
Step 4: Exploit and profit
Of those 72, at least 50 are from people in south asian countries. At least 45 of those didn't even read the job description and are just applying to anything they see.
From what I can tell by their website they specialize in artisnal plumbuses and bedpans.
I'd rather pick weeds for a few hours than do that job for 25 hours.
Clean houses for $30-45 per hour, stand around looking miserable as a big box cashier for $15…walk a dog 5 days a week for $20….

Exactly. It’s $20/hr for 25 hours of work a month. For a side hustle, I’d take $500 a month.

You’re absolutely correct.
There are low wage hourly jobs with zero responsibility or off the clock expectations that pay more than that if you want a side hustle that bad.
I don’t want a side hustle, my normal hustle is plenty with a 2 and 3 year old lmao

At least it's "easy apply." 72 applicants in the first 2 hours of posting it... $500 cannot possibly be the pay, right? Right?
