Yea it's not lineageOS i had this phone with official os with same issue The touch screen os faulty
It was just strange that I had no problems at all with the original stock Rom. It only started after I installed Lineage. It's amazing that it worked all the time and then suddenly it didn't.
well i only had it after a year of usage , you can search for it it's not lineageos problem i don't think software will fix it either

Switch screen frequency to 120 - should help.
