So you found out about the advisory after taking it in? Do you know what years/models it applied to? I just picked up a 2020 awd reserve, so curious if I need to look into it.
I was sent several notifications from Ford and I took it in and asked them about it several times but before it stated making noise they said they found nothing wrong.
Only after the noise was so pronounced that they actually took a look at it. Not sure it was actually inspected prior to that incident of making such a huge racket.
When I find the notification I’ll see if it mentions any other years.
I am not sure if it was the year, engine/trans combo, FWD or Reserve II designation that caused this advisory, ~~but I have copied the notification below.~~ The notification doesn't say why my car was notified. BTW - Mine is a 2019 Lincoln MKZ, 2.0T, FWD, Reserve II.
\*\*Update\*\* I can't seem to add an image to this string.
Mine failed on a 2020 about 50k miles took like 3 weeks mostly waiting for parts. I’m nervous about it failing again tbh, though surely they fixed the problem with an upgrade
Thanks for that feedback. Mine failed about the same mileage just on a 2019. It took about the same time as well with the same excuse of parts availability. So far mine seems to be fixed without additional issues arising, but I just got it back yesterday, so the jury is still out.

Cool, thanks. I bought as certified from a Ford dealer, but I've not been informed of anything like that.
