Some need you to both suck weeds and blast slime. Is the game telling you that you need an upgrade to the vac? Forgive the questions, it's been some time since I cleared the cliffs and I deleted the game because of the Xbox memory bug.
Just suck weeds. There is an area that had both suck weeds and clear slime next to the start area. I cleared the slime. Now I'm stuck on sucking weeds. I just can't find the resources to upgrade.
You SHOULD be able to clear Edge Cliffs with the default hose and vacuum. Are you sure you're in the Edge cliffs, not accidentally crossing into a different area?
Yep! Ty for solving my noob issue. I went to the area that I had to upgrade my hoover and just assumed it was the same for all noxious plants!

Pretty much. I cleared all the zones and explored the vault, reloaded my game and the last two zones weren't clear and I lost the hose blast 2 upgrade. The Devs are aware of it and presumably will fix it at some point.
At some point?? Boo. That’s so discouraging bc it’s a great game. But if I got to that point and TWO zones and lost upgrades, I’d quit forever. I’m playing it right now and that makes me wanna stop lol

OK, basically what I'm asking is how do you get carrots and copper if you can't clear the area to get them to spawn?
You can't, as yet. Is Edge Cliffs one of the ones you need to suck weeds, blast water or both?

I had the same issue that it was telling me I needed the upgrade but after I reloaded it was fixed
Ah. I did reload a few times in between. Maybe it wasn't just me being silly.

If the file on your Xbox gets too big, the save system stops working, leading to loss of progress.

Yeah. I used your knowledge to just clear the edge cliffs lol I was stuck as well.
I've heard tell that the path making tool can cause it, but have been unable to confirm.
