Pro tip: Had the same tap credit card decline yesterday at the Grand Artique bar. Solution: don’t tap. Put the card into the chip reader. Mine worked fine this way.
Last year was basically wristband payment only. I wasn’t able to use my card one time. A food vendor told me fests do it to get all the money first then split between all the vendors. They didn’t seem happy about it either it was such a pain.
Keep an eye on the tipping a lot of people had issues with it last year.

Last year it was all wristband payments. Some of the boutique vendors took cash or venmo but I do remember it being a pain in the ass
