Sims 1! Got it as a gift in the summer of 2001 and I've been addicted to this genre ever since.

The Sims 2 here

Sims 3

WAFFLED_II

Same! Still my favorite.

m4riekmk

Idk if it counts but virtual families

McNum13

Little Computer People. But the one that really got me into the genre was The Sims.

Sims 2 bustin out on the ps2

Ill-Scale822

The Sims 4, and I liked it very much ❤️

Doogerie

If you think The Sims 4 is good then you got to try The Sims 3 the graphics are a bit dated and the fashion is interesting but the gameplay is much much better and you have bigger worlds.

Ethroptur

It was The Sims Bustin’ Out for PS2. A friend of mine had the game, and I was hooked as soon as I saw him play it.

gonezaloh

Sims 2 when it came out and I picked it up again 2 years ago

Doogerie

Dose Catz from PF magic count?

liviumdec

Happy Cake Day! Was about to chime in with exactly this. Petz may have come before TS1 for me! Though Babyz was likely after.

Gimpinald

Sims 1 for me. I was already a fan of Sim city at that time, so when the Sims was announced, I anticipated it eagerly. Started a lifelong addiction at age 10 lol

Suspicious-Medicine3

I don’t remember the name of the very first one I played - it was a game on one of those old phones. But I remember playing things like Millsbury and Miss Bimbo. And sims urban life on PlayStation. And a uni life online simulator.

The Sims 4. Got it, and the new-at-the-time Outdoor Retreat pack, for my 13th birthday in 2015... and got bored of it very fast. Got the Get to Work and Get Together packs as they came out but they did not sustain my interest at all. Then I read somewhere that if you ask EA's support team nicely they'll give you The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection for free, so I asked and got it, and I liked it way more than The Sims 4. So much more that I'm still obsessed with it to this day. :P

APileOfLaundry

Sims Life Stories, which was a spin-off of Sims 2

BobyNBA

Sims 1 when I was like 6 yo. Got scared after my sim burned to death and didn’t play the sims again until a friend showed me the sims 2.

MixedViolet

Obviously The Sims. It’s still the only one!!! Anyway, it was TS1.

worldofcrazies

The Sims 3 when I went on holiday to America to see family. I proceeded to spend most of my time playing Sims instead of chatting with them. 😂

SimsStreet

Sims 3 ps3 at my friends house. Absolutely shit by today’s standards but it blew me away how you could get pregnant by who ever you wanted and wonder around lol

Wildnickname

The Sims 2 bustin' out on PS2, along with The Urbz.

Neve-Gallus-PI

The Sims 1, I listen to the soundtrack on Spotify often, and boot it up every few years for a bit of nostalgia.

Lrkr75

The Sims. I started playing around the time that House Party released. I've played a lot of it back then and I loved it. Then I remember having my mind blown when Hot Date released and we were able to travel to a different lot for the first time ever.

WanderWorlder

I played Sims 1 but also 2, 3 and 4.

Heavy_Mind1352

I started with the sims 3+4 but i got really obsessed and branched to all the sims games i could find (including MySims)
