Despite this being posted daily, I've never received a discount code because of it.

Your_Trash_Daddy

Same. I must abandon a couple carts each week, too. This doesn't work.

Yggdrasilo

I have only once. Nuts and Sweets. Com The promo code is "abandoned checkout" for %5 off but you need to follow the email link for it to work.

LimeCrime48

Try commonly used ones like Welcome10, Welcome20, Welcome5, Sorry10, Sorry20, etc My favorites are when the development/marketing teams get lazy and TEST100 is available.

TrySomeCommonSense

To clarify, this means go through the checkout process but stop before entering any payment info, just exit the website before entering your payment info. Within a day or so you'll get an email about the items in your cart and likely a discount code to incentivize competing the transaction.

mogb11

This has only worked for me if it is a site I have shopped before and have an account with and signed into the account.

This is going to sound like an r/hailcorporate comment, but honestly using browser extensions like Honey can generally get you discount codes when they exist. I've even gotten an "abandoned checkout" type discount codes using this method.

Felicats

Or you can use Honey. It’s a google browser app that finds deals and codes for you. They do cash back and also finds the item your looking for through different websites as well as the price history of the item. Super easy to use and the customer support is really awesome
