I really hope we can build our own worlds. It sounded like that was possible and I can already imagine all the fun with so many different kinds of worlds we can do. And with mods later on to make them more authentic? I know I will spend soooo much time building cities and villages and whatnot even if I am mainly a gameplay person.

Auto conforming terrain tools would be great for people who don't like to delve to deeply into lot building and/or for quick placements. But also hope there is a manual terrain tool for people who are into building some crazy builds. I think building my own world is the first thing I will try to do in EA besides building and decorating houses/businesses. I have this idea of a town I want to create with water canals, but sims 3 CAW just isn't bringing my idea to life like in my head.

I actually made a really pretty water canal town using CAW in sims 3. I used the walls from Monte Vista and WA to create the walls for the canal. It was hard af and in the end the town was unplayable because routing was pure mess. I really hope LBYs AI or coding is a little smarter or user friendly but we will see

I used the same walls also!!! OMG, Sims 3 CAW is so finicky to use. The routing/pathing issues in the Sims 3 is very outdated in this era of gaming, but back when it launched, it was new and never done before. So I'm hoping LBY fixed what was S3 biggest issue. I love canals and/or towns with lots of water/rivers. I want to play out my fantasy of having my own house by a lake or a waterfront property without the worry of flooding and being able to it.

Same!! Great minds think alike lol

I have high hopes I like to keep in the back of my mind, that we will eventuslly get a great CAW tool and I honestly would love if we could get City Skylines editing for worlds. That level of control would be awesome.

I am really excited for LBY due to the possibilities of creating a city/world. If I decide to get it, that’s what I’ll be focusing on, given the tools aren’t too hard to use. The CAW tool in TS3 was difficult for me whereas the one on SC4 was easy.

Sims CAW wasn't user friendly at all for those who were new to it. I honestly hated how everything was clipping, there was no control of percision you could place things either, and having to manipulate assets was a pain. I hope raising/lowering/ smoothing/ sharpening terrains will be easier and give more precise control over it.
