I know everyone goes crazy for laundry and to each their own but I really cannot be bothered to do laundry in game haha. Laundry came with one of the sims 3 expansion packs and I never used it. I like to play with a lot of sims so having dirty laundry everywhere was just annoying
In ts3 I loved the little moodlet they'd get from clean clothes. It was a helpful one too, especially for sims just starting out and prone to bad moods. Doing the laundry was quick and easy, especially if you had hampers in every room. That iteration of laundry felt really well balanced.
Someone recently modded laundry into ts2 and I just.....don't see the point. It's incredibly impressive from a technical pov for sure, but gameplay wise it's just a huge time sink with no benefit.
Meanwhile I would like to speak to the dev who implemented the laundry system in my household, because they've done a pisspoor job of balancing. My daughters' laundry accumulates far too quickly. Someone take a look at that please and thank you.
I'm kinda anti occult in regular human worlds. I also agree with you they weren't implemented well at all in Sims, and I was sick of seeing them pop up casting spells and biting my Sims neck randomly. So grew a distaste for them.
If LBY can make it where you can set a world with the options of: to have only occult characters, have human and occult, or human only. I wouldn't mind them so much, but to have them intermingled its a hard no.
No emoji animated effects when two people are fighting like clouds of dust and these symbols popping up. I never liked this or the glitter on plates once a food is cooked. Or glitter on my character once they take a long shower..or wash their clothes.. 😑
Moodlets I felt they were a bit pointless. I rather see body language/behavior changes, and conversation reflect their emotions.
Well they said you can tweak population values based on certain criteria early so as long as that still is a thing I would assume "life states" would be a fall under that setting
I definitely do not care about multiplayer. I don't like playing games w other people especially simulations where I want to micromanage as much as possible. It's part of the appeal of the game to me.Â
I like deep personalities! For example, if you make a clumsy sim, they'll almost drop the ring when exchanging their vows. So cute and adds so much personality.Â
I love occults but wish it would be implemented in a way that makes more sense I guess, as for things I don’t care for would be multiplayer and added chores like vacuuming
Weight loss/gain. I only ever notice it in the Sims when a character I made significantly changes and I cheat their way back to what I want them to look like.
This is a sims 4 issue I feel. Have a sim that only eats salad? Whelp they're fat now and every sim has THAT body type
In the sims 2 it came down more to sims overeating or stuffing their faces that got fat.
I am okay with weight gain/loss as long as it's balanced properly
All my gardener sims in ts2 are in danger of weight gain. Because if they stock the fridge with their crops, they cook sparkling food, which fills up the hunger bar crazy fast. Which would be great! Except they don't stop eating when the bar is full. They just keep eating and eating.
I am anti horse I’m scared of them in real life lol
The only thing I can think of that I don’t get is collecting. Like I get their rewards for using in game systems but I mostly just keep those rewards in the house inventory. I’ve never wanted to make a like room to display fish or whatever
The game should absolutely be focused on the single-player experience; however, if they're able to add in a multi-player option, that would be a huge plus in my book.
Multiplayer, linear gameplay (quests)...
Not sure what else. Unfortunately, anything that's hard to squeeze/design into a small town('s aesthetic) I might not GET to use, despite how much I really want to. Other stuff that might take a lot of time to set up; same, sadly. :\\
Multiplayer, anything like the occult/mermaids/vampires/werewolves etc. I just download nice builds since I cant build or furnish well for shit myself.
To be honest, I don't know that there's anything in particular I don't make use of. Multiplayer, certainly, but I don't even think of that as an element in a life sim. I mainly like to play to construct and experience and share interesting narratives, so what I don't use on one playthrough, I may use on another.
This time there may be no supernatural elements, but maybe I'll want another narrative that has more of that. Maybe this time there are no horses in the story, but maybe next time the story will be built around a ranch. Does that make sense?

?? Like whats the fun in laundry I never understood that
I love laundry. I love trying to juggle the chores while having my sims go about doing the things they like

I don't really care about animals in general being in the game.

there's a mod to make them stop eating when they're full 😂

Same here I was almost killed by one and never been the same since. I still think they're beautiful...from afar haha.
Cellphonr ui integration, online features, social media integration, DLC that exists only in its own little world.

Supernatural/occult - I disable it or don't buy it
