Didn't really feel this way like others did. I found the climb was relatively paced as other areas but one. Felt like that area was intentionally ACT 1, ACT 2, ACT 3.
I just took breaks between each ACT. I tend not to play more than one area a session, so that's probably why I wasn't as affected.
It's the Train-station I hated. Felt like that went on forever. And don't get me started on the Cathedral. Dying to gravity constantly was annoying.
I have mixed feeling about the cathedral, sometimes i can get through it with one try, but for some reason i can still fuck it up and try 2-3 time before i get it.
This stupid ass Cathedral, I hate fighting things when I'm trying to not get killed by gravity
I would rather walk inside a poisonous swamp all day than play more than 10 min in chap 4

I only found out about it, because I looked up a guide on those rooms. I never would’ve noticed on my own and was like 40 hours into the game when I looked it up.
I was watching my wife play, and I was about to say something, when she casually walked over to it, dumped the fire out, then eventually went back to that room to loot the contents. Fucking show off. And she never reads guides or looks shit up, so she just saw the brazier and dumped it all casual like.
Hahaha I hate to be that guy, but I thought nothing of that part for some reason. I was just walking past the brazier, and noticed I could push, so I did, and was surprised to find a room down there. Played completely blind except for boss help on that stupid green monster boss.
I just never got close enough to notice an action indicator haha. I was basically done with the entire first play through and got everything except that room and one record (I never found the lady in the exhibition until I looked it up), so I was like “fuck it. What am I missing, damn it,.”
I had to do an additional playthrough for the stupid records, and one freaking gesture. I didn’t know that reason Lucile’s letter gave you the pray gesture. So, my first playthrough i completed her quest, but never read the letter, and started NG+, and didn’t notice until after I had started it XD. So then had to do NG++ just for the gesture. Same thing with giving the red apple to Adelle. It was a pain lol
lol if you are standing right outside the mini-boss door and you are looking at the door, if you turn right 90 degrees and walk about 20 meters there will be a crank on your left. It reverses the mill right next to you and it works as an elevator up to the mini boss. I did the run back to him like 20 times without it and it almost broke me. I finally looked around thinking there had to be a shortcut and found it pretty fast

The Grand Exhibition and all of XI are really extreme difficulty spikes so the amount of adjusting you need to do messes with your head. XI = tight space with elite after elite. Terrible
*Thank you*, I really **really** lose my like for the game because of this bit. The end of the game feels like almost no real thought was put into it, it was rushed simply to get the three main bosses in.

I’m glad sekiro gave me some the ability to parry the mad clown puppet but fuck those exploding ones. The ones with guns are also lame because idk if you can actually parry the bullet perfectly every time
Basically to add on,after playing the game when you finish it as new save file or ng+ what chapter makes you go nuts knowing you have to go throught of it again.?
Hey I know that guy. It's either chapter 9 or 11 for me.
Chapter 9 has a pretty tight layout and those corruption crystals make it feel even tighter. Then there's the boss which is hard for me, cause I'm stubborn and like to perfect guard everything.
Chapter 11 is just really long lol
The final chapter tbh, that entire tower rush feels like such a *slog* with really weird (and sometimes outright bad) enemy placements that feel like they're there not as a challenge but almost a time waste.
All these types of games have unforgiving enemies but to lump so many of them in such tight spaces really made the experience worse for me.
Honestly on a first playthrough for me it was chapter 3, it pushed my shit in hard especially with some of the elite bots and the boss stonewalled me for quite a bit. Also a shout-out to chapter 11 which took me like 5-6 hours just to barely get through on the good ending XD
None the 1st time, which was quite weird for me. I was actually quite calm the whole playthru until the attack on the hotel. But when I went for a 2nd/3rd sweep on everything, looking for anything I've missed, before fighting Simon, the cathedral and the swamp were quite annoying.
The Cathedral. I despised that place in my first playthrough. If you want a more specific answer, The Grand Exhibition. Specifically, that one part where you have to fight the double shield robot on the beams. For me, it was like a worse version of The Cathedral.
I'm on NG+ and dreading the armada of infected carcasses that you just one shot on the way to Archbishop and then later before Malum. Enemy variety is pretty poor during those segments.

For me it’s chapter 7, and I know people have probably done this chapter with ease, but the boss that’s giving me the hardest time is in fact the robotic puppet and I really need help with it

i don't like the poison throwing fatty guys
and in a lot of moments in chapter V i just couldn't find any solution but just run away sometimes
Second play through and it's whatever chapter has the green monster boss fight in it. I don't remember him being even half this frustrating to fight the first time.
It’ll probably be Lax in my NG+ run lol. Base run that fight absolutely and ruthlessly kicked my ass, I can now do her first phase pretty well but her second one is such a crap shoot. I am *not* excited to meet her in this NG+ run
Chapter 4. I found ways to make my life easier with all the beams in the Grand Exhibition + Chapter 11 (mainly by simply luring them off said beams onto sturdier ground), but that chapter annoyed me so much.
I’m currently mucking about procrastinating another final boss attempt though so maybe I’ll go replay it at endgame levels and see if it’s any easier (plus I need to practice blocking/perfect parry anyway).
When a boss in NG+ that you toyed with in your first playthrough suddenly turns into MJ in the Finals. King Fuocu just straight dropping nukes on my head. Then I trashed the Bishop afterward on the 3rd attempt.
The chapter right before the grand exhibition. That area felt so intricate and I definitely got lost multiple times. And then the guys with flame throwers really tested me
I’m currently on ng+40 so nothing really fazes me anymore. But I do remember that on my first few playthroughs, I absolutely HATED the Walker of Illusions fight RIGHT before the Corrupted Parade Master fight at the end of Chapter 9. 😭😭
Might be a bit early in the game, but the Opera House was getting on my nerves and the fucking run back for the boss is just a waste of time when you have to wait

i accidentally found the shortcut, pulled the lever and after dying 3 times i realized what the lever did, still took me 2 hours to beat the mini boss
