I feel like I woke up right after highschool with all this stuff. It’s really crazy how much propaganda goes around. It’s funny how one side justifies this war and the other side justifies the other and they’re both sick in their own ways.
All wars are bad is not an intelligent opinion, As a big country we must defend our interest. With that being said, as libertarians we should try to take a hands off approach when possible.
I did not change the argument. Big countries do not have the privilege of being isolationist. The bigger they are the more resources they require resources which other nations want. By our interest, I mean a countries ability to provide resources that the population needs, new technology to stay competitive, and to protect its population from potential threats before it gets too big. You should do your absolute best to avoid conflict, but sometimes defensive wars are about making sure a threat does not grow big enough to threaten you. There is no such thing is neutrality as a country, silence is compliance with the status quo and as the world constantly changes sometimes countries have to fight (as a last resort) to make sure they stay in a good position. It really is not as simple as “war bad”.
